Those slippers Charlotte is wearing! Her legs must be too swollen to wear shoes. Must be really near her time now.
ReplyDeleteNice to see Mother and daughter together. Did Charlotte have her baby yet? Difficult to tell for sure from her dress. I like the dark blue color but rather voluminous.
ReplyDeleteCharlotte seems to have gained more weight than for her first pregnancy
ReplyDeleteik herken haar bijna niet , zo dik en opgezwollen. Vorige zwangerschap was ze heel normaal .
DeleteCharlotte seems to have lost all her sense of style during pregnancy. Not the first weird dress.. I really don't like it. There are thousands of beautiful formal pregnancy dresses, so wth this??
ReplyDeleteCharlotte's dress is not the worst, but those shoes!!! I gained much more weight during my second pregnancy too, but I would never ever have worn shoes like that for a'n official event. (...even if the legs are swollen...)
DeleteCaroline looks youthful, but that skirt?
I'll be quiet about all the fashion, but I've had legs and ankles that were huge and if I had an official event I'd have bought a pretty pair of shoes in a wide width. Every pregnancy is different, but she does look like she toughed it out for this event.
DeleteOh her shoes aren't that bad!! She just places comfort before stylish considerations and she is entitled to do so, IMO
DeleteMy other comment concerns Pr Caroline who seems to have had successfully some aesthetic treatment or surgery. Well done in my view, but on some pictures she is hardly recognizable compared with some pictures not so long ago.
Caroline looks great - love the skirt. Well done Charlotte for going because she really doesn't look very comfortable. I don't mind her dress - a brighter colour might have been nice but I think she's going for the camouflage option.
ReplyDeleteNice combo on Caroline,do not care too much for the black dress of Charlotte, does mules she is wearing look like slippers maybe a little risky in her condition hope she don't fall.
ReplyDeletethe clothes remind me of my early working days in the 80's. Mom is a 'never throw anything away that isn't worn out' type of person so I need to go visit her house and see what may still be in that closet!
ReplyDeleteMethinks Charlotte will be having a girl :)
ReplyDeleteI think so too!
DeleteSadly the usually elegant Princess Caroline has missed the mark here and Charlotte looks almost unrecognisable. Compare with the elegance of the Duchess of Cambridge before the births of any of her children. I agree with Arrenia and memories of 80s bohemian style
ReplyDeleteThe Duchess of Cambridge never appeared this late in her pregnancy and she certainly never looked to be suffering from the water retention that it seems Charlotte is doing.
DeleteFair enough if you don't like the clothes but I don't think it's right to compare two different pregnancies.
Franny; I red somewhere that Charlotte´s due date is at the end of this month, so there are some weeks still time. We saw Catherine last time at April 1 st when she gave birth to Luis 17th.
DeleteThat is true people and pregnancies are never same. I was always huge weeks before and was already with child at those weeks, all five of my children were born weeks before due time.
I think she is going to have a girl this time.
My first thought was, is there a Halloween party? Caroline is dressed like a gypsy and Charlotte like a witch, shoes included. They are beautiful women but bad choice of outfits.
ReplyDelete+ 1.000
DeleteOn pourrait faire d’autres comparaisons qu’avec la duchesse de Cambridge !!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with Annie M and Nin Pujol.
ReplyDeleteReiteró la modelo anterior tiene las mismas zapatillas en blanco!! Si Charlotte optó por lo cómodo felicitaciones!!
ReplyDeleteFirstly, it is body shaming to make any comments about Charlotte's appearance. She has the body of a woman that has changed due to pregnancy. Her dress is not so bad. While her shoes would not be anyone's first choice, mules are in in a big way. I think she must have gone with a black, comfortable shoe. She should get all the credit in the world for making it to the event.
ReplyDeleteCaroline has just shown how to wear a longer skirt. Her blouse is close enough to the body, and she is wearing the perfect shoe. This is how Sophie Wessex should be wearing her long skirts.
Both of them have a boho chic style that is very popular in some rich circles where people want to appear more relaxed/cultural/ with a "personal" style (but probably very expensive). Charlotte's choice of shoes has in my mind nothing to do with her feet being swollen, she looks just fine and perfect for an expecting woman.
