Crown Princess Mary visited Utterslev School in Copenhagen to launch Danish Refugee Council's 2018 Children's U-Country Calendar (Børnenes U-landskalender). Børnenes U-landskalender is produced every year by a cooperation between Danida, DR and variable humanitarian aid organizations, and aims to raise money for the purpose of helping children in poor countries. This year, profits from the sale of the calendar will go to Syrian refugee children in Jordan. Danida is the name of Denmark’s development cooperation. This is an area of activity under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark. The Crown Princess is the patron of Danish Refugee Council. |
Mary has gotten a LOT of use out of this coat/dress. I believe there is a matching dress or skirt that goes with it. I remember her wearing this before one of her pregnancies, during one of her pregnancies, and now years later (at least 5 to 8) after her last pregnancy! Talk about getting the most bang for your buck. LOL. IMO, she has always looked nice in it and I'm happy to see it again. Personally I like a "heavy" brocade/tweed/or woven "coat dress" or skirt. It is very versatile in that in the fall it's enough on it's own to keep you warm without needing a coat when the weather starts to get a little nippy, and in the winter it's great layering piece. I think this is first time I've ever seen her pair it with pants. And I like the bright yellow shoe to fresh'n up the look.
ReplyDeleteCP Mary is elegant and warm as usual.
ReplyDeleteNice to see this coat is getting an outing again. Mary looks very nice wearing it once again..love the shoes too everything matching, great.
ReplyDeleteMary looks amazing. Somehow I think she is one of the few royal women who can pull this look off and look classy and stunning
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Prada coat and Mary combine it nicely with trousers. Yellow shoes are exhilarating addition.

DeleteHer hairstyle is like Meghan's:)

I think she wore this coat before. Mary embodies natural elegance and beauty!
ReplyDeleteOh, I hope she isn't going to join the Meghan habit of leaving hair loose when the rest is pulled up!

DeleteLoose hairs make face look softer. Very nice.

DeleteLovely coat, but not affordable. I would... She looks tired the last few weeks indeed.

ReplyDeleteThose shoes are a big no for me too. But I do like the coat.
