On October 21, on the 6th day of their Australia tour and on day two of the Invictus Games Sydney, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex watched the sailing competition final of the Invictus Games on Sydney Harbour in Sydney. Then, The Duke and Duchess attended a lunchtime reception hosted by the Prime Minister Scott Morrison at The Pavilion Restaurant, The Domain in Sydney. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are on their official 16-day Autumn tour visiting cities in Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand.(The Duchess wore a pinstriped linen and cotton-blend blazer by L'AGENCE) |
I have the greatest respect vor Meghan. Early pregnancy can be so hard on the body, it's great that she can be out and about while her body is adjusting to growing a baby. Respect. Keep it up, Meghan.
ReplyDeleteAgree. Many women work every day straight through pregnancy but they are not subject to intense media scrutiny. That is added pressure. And I can't get over the heels. My balance was off during pregnancy as center of gravity shifts. I could not have done those heels.
DeleteI actually like this look, but is a terrible idea dressing exactly the same ( black skinny jeans, white blazer and similar shoes) than the day before. This is the same outfit, the same color, the same everything but from different designers.
ReplyDeletePersonally I’m not a fan of her style lately, if she wasn’t royalty I wouldn’t look twice.
I must say I disagree on Lana's comment. There are so many interesting things and info to discover about their trip. To me "fashion" aspects come only after! I come here above to learn about their trip! Of course it is interesting to see how they dress for such events. Many visits are unformal day events so yes casual wear is predominant. Her style brings her nearer to ordinary citizens, which I appreciate. I am aware that some followers believe royals should first of all be representatives of their monarchy, to me not necessarily, their are first all humans like everybody else, and is certainly true for a young woman who joined the royal family recently.
DeleteTotally agree with Lana, well said.
DeleteMaryT and all the people who said-who cares they’re happy!- I can’t repeat this enough, this is a FASHION blog, I have nothing personal against them or her work ethics. I’m just not feeling whatever she’s wearing in this tour.
DeleteMaryT, I totally disagree. Royals are first of all representatives of their monarchy. That is what the taxpayer pays for. To see a representant of their Country, their rules, their values.
DeleteRoyals are not private persons. If they want to lead a private life, they must give up their privileges.
Not a good idea to wear black and white nearly on all days. The cut of the blazer is unflattering also. For my oppinion she needs a better stylist, who takes some consideration of her slim figure. In the end the handbag completes the unfortunate overall impression.
ReplyDeleteAgree, she should wear not only black and white. Today white and blue or yellow would have made a big difference. She is a proud pregnand women without a question, but we all know giving birth the first time can be frightening and it is not easy to share everything you have achieved a.s.o. with your tiny mini mini baby for some people ..it is not easy to become a mother.
DeleteThat young man Harry is so happy and Meghan is the reason,is it not adoreble?
ReplyDeleteHer clothes seems not that imported, they are wearing happiness and that is enough.
Needless to say Meghan feels comfortable in dark colors.A little bit of red yellow and so on would jazz it up a little bit.She glows pregnancy becomes her. I am glad she don't share the morning sickness like Catherine went through three times. Hope she don't overdo it.
ReplyDeleteCute purse. I personally am sick of skinny jeans on ANYONE. Shoes too dressy for the outfit, especially in daytime. Jacket is too big looking, as it looks to be overwhelming her body. Color of any kind would be a nice touch. The subtitle of this blog is "Hollywood Fashion". I am not hating on anyone, just have my own opinion, to which I am entitled.
ReplyDeleteThe outfit on the boat is just fine - super appropriate.
I hope she will slow down and get some rest for the baby's sake. No such thing as superwoman, or superman for that matter.
Meghan chooses great sunglasses, I must say
ReplyDeletesooooo boring..
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so similar..
You have no idea if this are pics from day 1 or 4 or 6..
all together one big 'pudding'.
Yes Anna her style is getting tiring. Am glad on this post people are beginning to see what we saw from the start
DeleteI would like to see Meghan wearing other colours than black and white...
ReplyDeleteAgree she is pregnant, she can wear every color!
DeleteI really like the colors she has chosen for this trip and in general. She is an adult woman, not a school girl with pink and yellow dresses or a barbie with bling.
DeleteThe royal men wear the same dark colors all the time. Why no complaints there? There are many women that like dark colors, or stick to neutrals. Meghan is not alone. At least they are colors she can wear.
ReplyDeleteThat being said, she does look very similar to the outfit yesterday. I would probably prefer to have seen her in espadrilles at least one of those days. I love the turtleneck. It looks great with her jacket.
