Queen Mathilde of Belgium who is performing duty as a Defender of UN Sustainable Development Goals is currently in New York to attend UN General Assembly meeting, and meetings and events held in connection with UN General Assembly. The Queen attended many meetings and activities, relating to the importance of urgent implementation of Sustainable Development Goals. The Queen preferred to wear Natan outfit at the events and meetings she attended in New York. |
The floral should stay in the closet til spring next year. The jumpsuit is odd because in these pics it makes her look a few months pregnant when her belly area is not big at all. Would like to see more pics of the shorter dress. It looks like it could be quite nice.
ReplyDeleteNo no no to the orange horror that makes her look like an Amazon. Nobody should ever wear orange, it makes the skin complexion look waxy, on top of being a terrible color by itself.
ReplyDeleteOp de eerste foto is haar kapsel mooi, dat broekpak zie ik niet zo graag.
ReplyDeleteOmg, the jumpsuit is not one of the best choice of Queen Mathilde... But her smile is so warmhearted and beautiful
ReplyDeletecertainly not orange for a jumpsuit
ReplyDeleteAgree
DeleteThe jumpsuit is not flattering at all. The floral is prettier in videos than in photographs. The last one is really nice. I wish she would wear more items from other designers than Natan, there are a lot of talented designers in Belgium. Such a shame.
ReplyDeleteI don't like those outfits, the jumpsuit especially!!!
ReplyDeleteHate, hate, hate the first look. It looks like she has tucked her shirt into her trousers and is not flattering at all - and she actually has a lovely figure but you couldn't tell here. The bouffy matronly hairstyle is very aging.
ReplyDeleteI like the floral dress, it's a pretty colour and the flowers aren't overpowering. I don't mind the last dress either - I like the drape of the sleeves.
For me it's a no for the jumpsuit but I like the floral dress...
ReplyDeleteI do like her hairstyle. She sometimes wears it messy but most of the times it is styled and that makes her look complete.
ReplyDeleteThis one piece suit is not great. Q MATHILDE has her wow's and misses like everyone else. The top part is not bad the bottom part is a no. Some of the other outfits she wore in NY are fine.
ReplyDeleteThe jumpsuit is awful. Really unflattering and makes her look overweight. I like both of the other dresses, especially the plain one. Love the interaction with CP Victoria.
ReplyDeleteBoth dresses are nice on her specially the orange one . The jumpsuit doesn't suit her figure and the color is not a good choice . I don't like her hairdo in the first pictures .
ReplyDeleteI agree the jumpsuit doesn't fit her figure and the colour is aweful. I like the plain dress with the drappé. And the hairdos??? ok the one in pics 1 to 3 is fine, on some pictures her "everyday hairdo" looks sometimes ok. she should go for a more simple one, more easily reproducable.
DeleteQueen Maxima wore the same jumpsuit few weeks ago. I remember hers was blue and as ill-fitting as Q.Mathilde's, but then nobody notice It.
ReplyDeleteThat's because everybody is so used to seeing Maxima wear clothing that doesn't fit her well or is extravagant. Nobody notices that anymore, just like her always messy heir. She gets a pass for both.
DeleteThe orange colour is less forgiving than the blue. And they obviously have different body shapes because I don't remember it making her belly look big or her hips wide, I just remember the hem being quite long.
DeleteAnd total exaggeration to say she gets a pass for her hair and clothing - or we must be reading separate comments!
That jumpsuit is horrific!
ReplyDeleteThe jump suit is 2 sizes too small. It should have pleats at waist. The florsl dress is not appropriate for a meeting. I am surprise queen Mathilde was so well put when visiting Montreal and Ottawa.
ReplyDeleteI don't see why the floral dress is inappropriate.
DeleteThe orange jumpsuit is ghastly! Otherwise, Queen Mathilde looks engaged and kind as always.
