On 15 August Vaduz plays host to a huge celebration attended by thousands of Liechtenstein citizens and guests from many countries. The National Day begins with the State Act held on the lawn in front of Vaduz Castle, including speeches by the Prince and the president of the parliament. National Day is the only day of the year when the gardens are open to the general public. The Princely Family, that is, Prince Hans-Adam II, Princess Marie, Hereditary Prince Alois, Hereditary Princess Sophie, Prince Joseph Wenzel and Prince Nikolaus were present at the this reception. |
Sophie is wearing a very pretty and appropriate summer dress. Marie does not look too well--I hope her health is all right. Relatively small turnout of family and a small crowd attending.
ReplyDeleteThe country counts 37 thousand citizens - the crowd is probably the whole population of the capital, in this light it's probably not that small at all :)
ReplyDeleteA cute dress with decorative lace.

ReplyDeleteAah thanks, so nice to hear about another royal house
I like Sophie's dress. Very nice indeed. Is Princess Marie Aglae ill? It seems so...
ReplyDeleteMe encanta el vestido de Sofie, muy fino, femenino, blanco impecable
