Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia visited Älvdalen fire region

On August 15, 2018, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia of Sweden visited Älvdalen region affected by forest fires last month and the fire brigade. On July 12, forest fires started in various locations and military training areas in Älvdalen district and the fires were brought under control with extinguishing efforts that lasted for 15 days. During the forest fires, a forest area of 13 thousand hectares was burnt.

    I think she should not be wearing jeans, and I really dislike her shoes! Love the blouse, though.

      The prince pair are there to tromp around the forest-fire area. What is she supposed to wear? Sofia is dressed appropriately for the occasion. She looks nice, and the thick soles on her shoes are probably a good and practical idea.

      I agree, why not jeans? And what is wrong with she shoes? They are perfect with her outfit, not to mention the fact that they are in style. For a style blog, there are a great many people on here that dislike what is in style.

      So many attacks because someone didnt like the shoes and jeans but like the blouse instead.
      They didnt visit the affected areas. They got a helicopter view but didnt went there. I can imagine that there maybe reasons for it.

      "Carl Philip and Sofia will meet the governor Ylva Thörn to get information about the situation, after which to have a lunch together.
      After the meal, Carl Philip and Sofia will know how the extinguishing work went on. They will meet with other rescue chiefs Johan Szymanski and Per Hampus as well as representatives from the defense.

      Around 15 o'clock, the visit will be over, but before that, Prince Sofia and Carl Philip will take a helicopter trip to get an overview of the area from the air"

      Maybe they went into the area of the fires. Maybe she tried on gear.Or slid down the pole..... It is a fire station ppl. Jeans are fine.

    Sofia and Carl Philip are a young and beautiful couple. They are dressed casually and appropriately for the occasion.

    jeans, cargo pants and other informal attire is what one wears on these occasions. Nothing wrong with the choice, thus wasn't a flowers for the princess event. Welcome to 21 st century!!
