The Royal Couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a special service held at Oslo Cathedral. During the celebrations, Crown Prince Haakon, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, Princess Ingrid Alexandra, Prince Sverre Magnus, Princess Märtha Louise, Emma Tallulah Behn, Leah Isadora, Maud Angelica and Princess Astrid, Mrs Ferner were present. King Harald got married to a commoner, Sonja Haraldsen at Oslo Cathedral on August 29, 1968. |

Oh my goodness! When I looked at the first photo I actually thought King Harald was Prince Haakon. Absolutely a double of each other at that age.

ReplyDeleteI agree. It was ok to use them with the shorter pink dress that she used in the park with queen Sonja, but not to this dress and in the church and castle. She should ask her always elegant grandmother how to dress.

DeleteThe Royal couple still have that look of love after 50 years. Everyone looks happy and relaxed. I especially loved the pictures taken before the banquet. Queen Sonja looks stunning. The King looks pretty dapper, too.
