On July 3, 2018, Prince Charles, Prince of Wales and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall visited the village of Llangwm and Cleddau estuary community of Llangwm. The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall met with local groups around the village. The Duchess of Cornwall visited the Dyfed Shire Horse Farm in Pembrokeshire, a family run enterprise that has been breeding the Dyfed bloodline of Shire Horses for almost 40 years on a farm that has been in the family since 1849. |
While dress is a good length, not sure what is happening on the sides in the hip area. Are they pleats or pockets? I do not think they look good or her or anyone really, not even a thinner body type like Letizia of MM. Just not a good style.
ReplyDeleteShe really needs a consultant to help her pick out better clothing. This dress probably cost a lot of money, but looks like something my Mum would wear everyday around the house.
ReplyDeleteI can't see Camilla needs a consultant/stylist? She has her own style and it's very rarely her dresses don't fit or not are suitable to her figure and age, IMO! I agree, this dress is too rarrow around her hips, a size too small?
DeleteBut your comment needs a 'signature' ;-)
That is a strange structure of Camilla's dress! One wonders if those things on her hips are pockets and what the back looks like. From picture #3 it looks like a panel or flap is in back. Very curious. Her hair is much like mine and looks like it behaves as it likes unless it gets glued into some other form. She's smart not to fight it.
ReplyDeleteNot only does she need a consultant to pick out her clothing but someone should help her find better products for her complexion. There is no reason for her to have the wrinkles she does. There are many new products, some inexpensive and over the counter, that would help her look better.
ReplyDeleteThere‘s a lot of poison in this comment - isn‘t it?
Delete@Monty I agree. I can think of a few very good reasons Camilla has her smile lines. She's 70 years old, she has lived a sporty life in the great outdoors, and she's often smiling.
DeleteYes, too much of poison!
DeleteYes, there is a reason to have those wrinkles - she's a woman in her 70s who has led a very outdoors life and who smoked for many years. Her skin is a reflection of that and no beauty product other than some kind of surgery or chemical peel is going to make the wrinkles go away.
DeletePersonally, I don't see what's wrong with how she looks. She's lived her life and she looks pretty damn good.
her necklace and the horses are stunning
ReplyDeleteThe horses more so.
DeleteThis Couple always has a good time where ever they go.They really enjoy their work. The horses seem to be friendly enough, hope they had a little treat for them. I love her pearl necklace.
ReplyDeleteI personally think Camilla mostly always gets it right. That purple outfit the other day was beautiful on her. She definitely dresses for her shape and age and does not try to wear what is current. This dress is not one of my favorites though, it does not work for her at all. She definitley goes for comfort and I applaud that.
ReplyDeleteCamilla demuestra mucha ternura con niƱos y se nota le encantan los caballos, ambos son muy naturales
ReplyDeleteMe gusta el vestido campestre
I think Camilla looks perfect at this occasion. I love her friendly, kind expressions, and the fact that she does not try to look younger than she is. Love her summery dress. She has gorgeous hair, and her face, while not that of a super model, is so attractive, with just the right amount of makeup.
ReplyDeleteThe colour of this dress suits Camilla very well. A simpler silhouette sans the side pockets (if that is what they are) would have been better. The shoes should not be worn again if she can help it.
ReplyDeleteVisiting the village of Llangwm must be one of the important roles of Prince Charles and Camilla giving hope and love to the people in UK.
ReplyDeleteLove the pearl necklace!!
ReplyDeleteI love the horses.
ReplyDeleteWhile the dress is not one of my favourites either, as a woman 'of a certain age' I find her choices of comfortable yet smart dresses reassuring. Ditto Queen Sonia & Queen Silvia ( and sometimes Queen Sofia!) As to her skin, she has always appeared to be someone who has far too many better things that she wants to do rather than spend hours in ge aooesrsnce or on expensive treatments. Princess Beatrix is another who has enjoyed a lifetime of outdoor pursuits & has the wrinkles to show for it. Wonder what Leticia & Charlene will look like at that age.
