On the second day of their visit to Curaçao, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima attended the celebrations of Curacao Flag Day 2018 (Dia di Bandera). The events took place in Brionplein region of Willemstad and in Barber village. Curaçao is an island located in the South of the Caribbean Sea and in the North of Venezuela and is one of the four countries which constitute the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

      yes the shoes are not flattering! i like the island hat if it was half its size. The earrings are too big too glam for the occasion

    The shoes are not very attractive. :( She may be nice, but always goes for the over the top outfits that just scream, look at me.

    Love her dress, the sea foam colour and her hat (nice unfinished texture, perfect for the Caribbean)... but for once, there is a woman with a hat that is bigger than Maxima's, lol! (5th photo, extreme right, peacock blue).

      The dress is a nice color, but looks sloppy and something for evening wear, rather than a day tour. The hat is beautiful, she always 'trys to hard' to be noticed with the big hats, or 'statement jewelry'... She could just be herself and it would be nicer.

    Q Maxima looks good the color of this dress is aqua everything matching that is nice, but the hat looks like it is fringed out all over. The shoes hurt my feet just to look at them.

    For me, the hat is the best part of this ensemble. The dress is ok, but the shoes cheapen the effect.

    I can't say I like this outfit. The colour is good, but the dress seems flimsy and shapeless with heavy shoes and an over-sized hat.
