| Crown Princess Victoria's birthday was celebrated on Öland on Saturday 14 July with the customary performance at Borgholm Sports Arena. In the evening, the entire Royal Family travelled in a horse-drawn cortège from Solliden Palace to the celebrations at Borgholm Sports Arena. King Carl Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Princess Estelle, Prince Carl Philip, Princess Sofia, Princess Madeleine of Sweden and Christopher O'Neill attended the celebrations of Crown Princess Victoria's 41st birthday held at Borgholm Sports Arena in Öland Island. |

DeleteEveryone looks great! I love Madeleine's dress I wish I had one too! Sofia looks incredibly nice and a bit different but I can't figure out why. Maybe her make up or hairstyle/hair colour is different, I don't know. Is there anybody else who can see it?

Sofia's hair is a lighter shade than it normally is and there's rumors that's she's pregnant again :)
DeleteYes, this is closer to Sofia's true hair color. During her TV and modeling days, she dyed her hair a very dark color--almost black. But photos of her before her 20s show that her hair was naturally much lighter and it suits her.

ReplyDeleteToday's concert for CP Victoria's 41st Birthday was wonderful,has anyone noticed no rain this year.I love the Q and Victoria's National Costume's. Pss Sofia looks fantastic in this dress and red shoes,her hair is very healthy looking.Pss Madeleine's dress I think is a bit to festive for an outdoor concert. The men look good too.Estelle really has grown she is more settled very impressive for a 6 year old. Someone wrote that Sofia maybe pregnant why not have the children while you are young,I am getting ahead of myself hopefully a boy again.

ReplyDeleteThe dress is not the same. Although its the same designer. Sofia's dress is called "Tie Frill Dress" and victoria is a longer dress that covers more the chest area , its called "Floral Print Midi Dress".

ReplyDeleteEvery one look grand today a little sun kissed but not too much.Pss Estelle has really grown a lot. Little Oscar no smiling moment, but he like to kick the ball around,he is pretty good at it for his age. CP and Chris are dressed a like. Hope everyone had a good time.

Why onnly Victoria and Silvia wear national clothes? They look out of place.
Sofia looks beautiful, her hair is lovely and she looks pretty and fresh in her dress. I'm not too keen on Madeleine's dress, it doesn't do her any favors. If the Queen and Victoria chose to wear national clothes, it'd be nice if Estelle wore one too. The men all look good.

ReplyDeleteI love when they all get together for a family function. Sofia looks so pretty. I'm not a big fan of her dress but the colors suit her. When she wears her hair down she has a softer look. I love Madeleine's dress. It's soft and flowing and speaks of summer. As usual Queen Silvia and Crown Princess Victoria look very regal in their national dress. Estelle's dress is perfect for a warm sunny day.
