| On June 21, 2018, Queen Maxima of The Netherlands attended the 10th jubilee symposium of Money Wise (Wijzer in geldzaken), held at Hall of Knights (Ridderzaal). The Queen gave a speech on financial education at the symposium. Queen Maxima is the honorary president of Money Wise Platform. Money Wise Platform aims to enhance financial literacy of people to enable them to take healthy financial decisions. |
She is smiling but her eyes look sad. She's a tough cookie. It can't be easy to just continue on with your duties in the public eye right away after you loose your sister.
ReplyDeleteThat had nothing with fashion to do. I do love her earrings and even though slightly clingy fabric, her dress is nice but not her best.
Oh, she looks sad even when she smiles (last picture). I wish her and the whole family all the best.

There’s great sadness in her eyes; the spark is missing. So sad to lose a younger sibling, especially to suicide.

ReplyDeleteI love Maxima in this dress. The style and colour are perfect for her, it is the right size and fits her beautifully. However on another note, I worry that she may have returned to work too soon. Or perhaps being back in the swing of things is best. Whatever, I wish her all the best.

On another website I saw some of the portraits bigger and saw, that she has very light hairs in her face, chin and so. I have no problem with it, in fact, it makes me a bit 'happy' because I have the same damn stuff and seeing it on such a beautiful perfect woman 'comforts' me, shows, it's something normal and human.
She looks sad and distance, loosing her baby sister just after one year of her dad passing away, very sad. My condolences to her and family.
