| Today is the 36th birthday of Princess Madeleine of Sweden. On the occassion of that birthday, Swedish Royal Court published a new photo of Princess Madeleine. Princess Madeleine of Sweden who is the Duchess of Hälsingland and Gästrikland is the youngest child of King Carl Gustaf of Sweden and Queen Silvia of Sweden. She got married to Christopher O'Neill on June 8, 2013 and the wedding took place in Royal Palace chapel. The couple has three children, namely, Princess Leonore, Prince Nicolas and Princess Adrienne. Happy birthday to you, Princess Madeleine. |

DeleteMadeleine's mother Queen Silvia, was imo the most magical of all royalties, when she came to Sweden to marry the king. She was a sensation and the future was promising. ReplyDeleteI believe the flower crown may be a tradition at Swedish family events. These photos were taken the same day as her baby's baptism.
ReplyDeleteVery lovely picture of Princess Madeleine. It was probably taken on the same day her youngest daughter was christened and she and Chris O´Neill celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary. I love her dress, very elegant and romantic. Her flower headband..its unusual..but in my opinion fitted the event and her style.

ReplyDeleteThey are all beautiful women. I believe it is terribly wrong to compare Madeline (or any other royal) with Caroline (or any other woman). Their beauty is on the inside first and foremost. There is no reason for us to judge that. This blog is about politely expressing an opinion about the fashion choices of royals and nothing else. I politely suggest we all keep to that and refrain from judging the external appearance.
