On June 29, 2018, King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain attended annual meeting of "Talent Rescuers" held at Malavella Hotel Camira in Girona. "Talent Rescuers" is one of the main programs of Princess of Girona Foundation, which focus on improving employability of young people. Talent Rescuers program of Princess of Girona Foundation supports employability of young people between the ages of 20 and 30 by promoting labour mobility between different autonomous regions of the country. |
Very nice, since yesterday what I am really enjoying is to see her more conmfortable and confident!
ReplyDeleteWell-dressed Spanish royals! Both dressed so well for this casual appearance. America trip last week and three engagements this week, such busy royals and a good cause today!
ReplyDeleteThis woman can make a simple outfit or a paper bag look pretty. The Spanish press suggests that the pattern of stars is a nod to the astronaut turned minister (next to the king) who accompanied them on this trip. Smart lady. She looks animated and excited to meet the young people. Picture #1 excellent choice, and excellent photography.
ReplyDeleteLetizia looks happy and relaxed. I like the top and pant she has a very small frame so she can wear just about anything. For me I would have liked the slacks regular lenght, but this is a matter of taste.
ReplyDeleteShe has cut her hair. It looks nice.
ReplyDeleteHappy and good looking spanish royal couple, a pleasure to see.
ReplyDeleteFrom the earlier photos, I thought this was a dress, so very disappointed to see it teamed with these ugly cropped trousers. I agree that this beautiful woman can make anything look good but the trousers do her no favours--I've seen very few women who do look good in cropped trousers even if very tall and slim.
ReplyDeleteNo entiendo:el Rey es Felipe y entrega el premio en representación de su hija "Princesa de Girona"porqué se fotografía "Letizia"?ella es consorte del Rey!!
ReplyDeleteTeresa, maybe because this is a fashion blog? Generally the author gives a very quick synopsis regarding the event. Not to say that King Felipe doesn't deserve to be photographed ( he is yummy) but I would dare say that most participants enter this site to check the dames outfits :-)
DeleteEl rey es un caballero muy elegante, pero en un blog DE MODA, la preferencia la tienen los atuendos de las Damas, por eso se muestra a la Reina, sola o acompañada.
DeleteThe Princess is also Letizia's daughter, so both parents are there to represent her. Men are restricted to suits, shirts and ties. Their fashion has not changed much over the last century. The pictures are both individual and wide angle so that the reader can get an idea of the context of the event as well as to the Fashion. The picture choices are clearly not an homage to Letizia alone. Saying that she is the consort seems a little like an implied insult. All women ..or men married to reigning monarchs are consorts.
DeleteAll the European Queens are consorts, except Queen Elizabeth and Queen Margaret of Denmark.....so....
DeleteAnonymous @3:32, fully agree with your statement. It's perplexing to me how some people make the most outlandish arguments, just because they dislike a subject. It's perfectly aceptable to critique fashion choices, but some of the commentary it's just childish, as far as I know, the majority of European princesses/ queens are consorts, so if the blogs were dedicated to reigning monarchs..........
