| On June 3, 2018, Sunday, King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden and Queen Silvia of Sweden attended an episcopal ordination at Uppsala Cathedral in Uppsala. The ordination service was led by Archbishop Antje Jackelén. Åsa Nyström was ordained Bishop of Luleå and Thomas Petersson was ordained Bishop of Visby. Uppsala Cathedral is the seat of the Archbishop of Uppsala, the primate of Sweden. |
