  1. I like this! The soft, understated colors and lovely fabrics are elegant, and the hairstyle and accessories perfection. Only change I would make is to slim down the lines of the skirt, as there is perhaps a bit too much volume to these garments when worn together.

I don't think it is her best look. Earrings shoes and bag are great.

What I like about Maxima is that she can pull of so many different looks. Here, she is more styled and made up, which gives her a more mature, older, elegant countenance. Other times she wears a look that is younger and more relaxed and free-spirited. Few people can do all that. I like all her looks including this one here.

If I was forced to pick a fault I'd say may be she's slightly overdressed for this down-to-earth event with all the satiny shine and the picture bow. But she look great no matter what.

    1. She had a lunch later on with the president of Germany and his wife and had no time to change clothes.

Marianne Reitjens, OK that explains it. Thanks for that info.

  7. Dare I say that this looks old-fashioned and fussy to me? It even seems to age Maxima. It’s just too much stiff and shiny fabric. Hair and make-up are great - always a pleasure to see her.

  8. I don 't like this shirt and skirt. In my opinion it 's too glossy and fabric looks cheap. But earrings and hair are good.

  9. Swathed in meters and meters of shiny fabrics, way to overdressed to attend to a morning event to do with people who finden some difficulties to access to the labor market. The small clutch bag looks incongruous too.

After this event, she had a lunch with the president of Germany...

  10. She could have paired the flashy skirt with a more simple and sleek top and changed for the lunch into the blouse with the big bow. So much flashiness doesn't seem te most adequate to visit a center who works with people who struggle to find a job. Many ladies manage to upgrade a business suit for a dinner date or an event simply by changing into a more dressy top at the office or at the venue of the event.
