During their official visit to Sagene district, the Crown Couple became guests of honour of the public festival held at Haarklous Square. There, the Couple met with children and volunteers who help creating a good local environment in Sagene. Afterwards, the Couple visited Sagene Church. |

DeleteLovely weather in the North of Europe. The CP Couple of Norway is not always on the hight of fashion, and no need for that of course. And I am sure, Haakon is a nice chap, but he was born into a royal family and there is one thing that is an absolut no go (for every man)- short socks!!! And one can see why this is the case.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree! I'm in my 60s and yet I will always judge a man's appearance by the way my dad and other men in my life have looked when they left the house. I saw Prince Haakon and immediately zeroed in on his socks. No!!! It takes away from everything and makes for a sloppy appearance.

DeleteIndeed, Haakon needs to retire those shoes ASAP. They look soooo scruffy, and they are the ugliest shade of brown ever. They could possibly work with a jeans or casual trousers, but not with a suit.
ReplyDeleteMette-Marit looks fresh and nice. I only wish her skirt didn´t have that weird white band across her hip area. Why would you want that on any skirt? Weirdest placement, really.

I agree, but the colours are very nice to Mette Marit. Haakon is well dressed too. even with a matching tie, but how can he spoil all of it with the ugly brown shoes.
