Yesterday evening, on May 16, 2018, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark attended a dinner held at D'Angleterre Hotel in Copenhagen in connection with Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2018. Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2018 took place at DR Concert Hall between the dates of May 15 and May 16, 2018. Copenhagen Fashion Summit is an international conference focusing on sustainable fashion. |
ReplyDeleteSomeone who knows who designed her dress? It’s absolutely amazing!
ReplyDeletePrincess Mary's dress is from Danish designer David Andersen. Princess had previously worn this dress
DeleteThank you, Hellen! :-)
Delete@ Hellen - thank you!
DeleteFantastic as ever no more to say.
ReplyDeleteLove the colour - she, Queen Letizia and Princess Charlene always look amazing in dazzling, stark white.
ReplyDeleteAlways a winner, absolutely Beautiful
DeleteLove this dress, even if it could have been slightly better over the bust but that could be fabric. Love the nude sandals, it was very warm in Copenhagen so absolutely appropriate.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Simple and elegant.
ReplyDeleteThere is a very fine line between 'simple' and 'plain'. A dress should never be 'plain', especially when it is a dress for a highly special event. A lot has been said about that other white dress that made its debut on Saturday. But take this dress of Mary for example. It is a plain white/cream dress (depending which photo you look at). Yet it has a few simple and subtle design/embellishment/texture details that catch the eye, that when you think about it are not really so 'simple' to do yet look simple and do not over power the dress, and that collectively elevate the dress to an exquisite level, especially when worn by the right person with the right figure like Mary here.
ReplyDeleteSaturday's dress had the right person, the right figure and the right design and designer, but it was the tiny non-intrusive couture details that I felt were missing which - for me - could have turned it from 'very beautiful' to 'exquisite'. Sometimes, very rarely, less is just that: a little bit too little.
