I don't mind the dress but don't think it's especially flattering for Mette-Marit. It's a bit tight and she looks like she has a uni-bosom.

ReplyDeleteThe dress is one of her better choices (not overly frilly) but still not really flattering her body type. I feel like this kind of floaty dress really only works on very athletic body types, and Mette-Marit is curvy. She needs thicker fabrics and more structured cuts. She also needs more colour; nothing extreme, just something that´s not white or pastel or black. The pattern gives me slight pyjama or hospital gown vibes, unfortunately. And lastly, this dress has an exceptionally ugly belt.
You are right as for the dress - especially compared with the photos of the model...
