| On April 27, 2018, King Willem-Alexander, Queen Máxima, Crown Princess Catharina-Amelia, Princess Ariane, Princess Alexia, Princess Laurentien, Prince Constantijn, Prince Maurits, Princess Aimee, Prince Maurits and Princess Marilène attended King's Day 2018 celebrations in Groningen. The Royal Family met with local people and watched musical performances held at the City Park and attended the events held as part of celebrations. King's Day is the national holiday when birthday of the King is celebrated. This year, King's Day is being celebrated in Groningen city. |

DeleteGorgeous family! I like the fact that Maxima recycled her hat from the 2004 Queensday celebration. It is the first time in a long while that I actually like something from NATAN on Maxima. The coat and dress look stunning. The princesses looked wonderful. They grow up so fast!
ReplyDeleteAmalia and Alexia were also wearing recycled Maxima clothes. Specially Alexia, she wore the denim jacket that Maxima wore in 2004 with the red "barret".

Catharina-Amalia has had a serious growing dash, she is really already taller than her tall mom.

Zij hebben, net als andere royalty, een publieke functie dus commentaar zal er altijd zijn. Als je boekjes als de Prive niet graag hebt, lees ze dan niet, dan stoppen ze vanzelf wegens te weinig verkoop. Deze blog is heel neutraal vind ik. In de commentaren heeft iedereen recht op zijn mening. Fijne koningsdag gewenst!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful family, the oldest daughter looks just like her father. The girls are lovely but that little redhead in the middle, is stunning. She will be a gorgeous woman and she looks like she has her mother's personality as well as looking just like her.

DeleteAgree that Princess Alexia is gorgeous. I love the whole family especially Maxima's wonderful exuberant personality but, sorry, the hat is as awful as it was in 2004.
DeleteI don´t like that style of hat on Maxima. She usually opts for large brimmed hats, and I can see why. Also, the coat is a bit too long and looks heavy on her.
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting to see how different the girls look, each with their very own facial features and colouring. You wouldn´t guess they are sisters, but you can see the ressemblance with their parents.
Sophie of Wessex should look to these girls for inspiration on how to dress her daughter.

ReplyDeleteI really don't like Maxima's beret. It's a hard style to wear and it doesn't work for her.
ReplyDeleteAmalia's outfit doesn't do her justice- the proportions of the top are wrong for her height. That said, I'm very impressed that she seems to be a very poised, charming and friendly person and comfortable with her role. It will be nice to watch her grow and her parents are obviously doing a good job with their girls.
They're a nice family - really warm and friendly. Catharina-Amalia looks very grown up.

Happy day's in the Netherlands for Kingsday.The Family is out in force. The whole Family looks grand. The Pss's look all fantastic so does the King and Queen. Keep up the good work everyone.
ReplyDeleteMaxima's beret and coat combination is perfect, very flattering, and I love the color coordination of this outfit -- but the coat and hat should have been removed together. The hat looks weird with such a dressy frock; btw I hope we will see this pretty dress again on future occasions (sans chapeau).

ReplyDeleteWszyscy z rodziny królewskiej wyglądają naprawdę promiennie. Jednak princess Amalia miała źle dobrane ubranie, krój à la lata 70 z xx wieku (rękawy dobre dla starej kobiety i zły materiał jak kremplina(?)). Q Maxime chyba uwielbia ubierać siebie i dzieci w peleryny i poncza. Princess Alexia miała pelerynę ale trochę jak z filmu Harry P. Wydaje mi się, że Q Maxime upodabnia się z włosami i beretem (vel kapeluszem) do Megan M.
