Dutch Royal Family attended 2018 King's Day Concert

In the evening of April 9, 2018, King Willem Alexander, Queen Maxima, Prince Constantijn and Princess Beatrix attended the annual King's Day concert (Koningsdag) at the Oosterpoort in Groningen. Every year, the concert is held in the county where the Dutch Royal Family will celebrate King’s Day on April 27th. King's Day or Koningsdag is a national holiday in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Celebrated on 27 April (26 April if the 27th is a Sunday), the date marks the birth of King Willem-Alexander.

    1. Indeed. All others would have been called weirdos. I share you feeling not being sure do I like it or not.

  12. Máxima's face looks somewhat puffy. She must have caught a cold.

  13. I think she looks great. Even the hair looks better than it usually does when worn loose. Love the 70s vintage vibe.

Beatrix also looks smart - love the shade of blue.

  14. Maxima herself looks lovely, radiant in fact, her choice of gown however almost hurts my eyes, it looks like men's ties have been sewn together to create a dress.

A dress that reminds me of paintings by Piet Mondrian. And It turns out he is (was) Dutch. A bit funny :) Anyway, a very artistic and interesting dress. I like It a lot.
