On March 29, 2018, Queen Elizabeth II attended 2018 Royal Maundy service held at St George Chapel in Windsor. Maundy is a holy Christian day which is celebrated every Thursday before the Easter. On every Maundy Thursday, the Queen visits a different cathedral in England and gives local Maundy money to local pensioners. During the service, the Queen gives gifts according to her age: For example, when the Queen turns 92, she gives 92 silver Maundy money per person to 92 men and 92 women. |
Very beautiful Queen Elizabeth
ReplyDeleteI admire her more every day. She is a joy to see with that enthusiastic smile and every appearance of still enjoying what she is doing. This blue outfit is lovely on her and it's nice to have a more open collar and be able to see the pattern on the dress beneath.
ReplyDeleteLong may she reign
Wonderful as always!
ReplyDeleteThe Queen looks beautiful as always.
ReplyDeleteWearing a royal blue outfit was inspired. To me the most lovely accessory she wears is her smile. For 66 years her smile has lit her engagements wherever she goes.
Thank you
Lovely. Wonderful lady. The royal blue with the black trim accents is very nice.
