Crown Princess Victoria attended "Discussions on Water" seminar held in connection with "World Water Day" at Teater Pero. World Water Day takes place on March 22 every year for the purpose of drawing attention to all kinds of water problems. The theme of 2018 is "Nature for Water" and at the panel, questions and ideas about how we can use the nature to solve problems relating to water were discussed. |
Fabulous in spring green
ReplyDeleteThis dress is vintage gone wrong.
ReplyDeleteNo matter what she wears one thing will always stand out "PUT YOUR HAIR DOWN" !!!
ReplyDeleteI think this will never happen. She will end up having similar hair like Margrethe II of Denmark who also prefered this kind of tight hairstyles and now we see how her hair look like..miserable :(
DeleteVictoria has good genes from her mother's side (look at her mom's thick hair!), so perhaps her hair won't go as thin but if she continues with this kind of tight hairstyles... But who cares? That's her hair after all and for her to decide how she want to style her hair.
Thank you, Karl K., for the words "it's her hair after all and for her to decide"!
DeleteWell Margarethe is 77 so Victoria has some time left. Honestly how many women near 80 year have thick and beautiful hair?
DeleteMargrethe's sisters Benedikte and Anne-Marie are in their 70s, yet, both of them still have full and beautiful hair. Only Margrethe's hair look pitifully thin, fragile and hairline gone back. Don't think that all those tight and pulled back hairstyles won't affect your hair, they do.
DeleteKarl; there are of course many things affecting hair, thinking Margarethe I would pick up heavy smoking, alcohol, possible quite a bit pain killers and other medicines. It is also a fact aging makes the hair line go up, that can be obfuscated by the way the hair is dressed.
DeleteHaven't heard before that smoking and alcohol will make your hairline go up. If anything then rather hormonal imbalances, high testosterone and/or DHEA, baby pills, etc.
DeleteBut I know many women, my sister being one of them, who are seriously struggling with their receding hairline because of too tight hairstyles and once they stopped torturing their hair this way, they noticed improvement and hair loss and breakage was marginaly less. At first they noticed that their hair have started to breake and there's lots of frizzy baby hair around their hairline, afterward follicles ceased growing and hairline went further and further back. They searched for help and were told to stop wearing their hair so tightly pulled back, opt for looser styles or wear them down, no extensions of cource.
I like the colour and I like the pattern, but the cut of the dress and the kind of material is not chosen so good.
ReplyDeleteNo me gusta ese vestido. Se ve mucho mayor de lo que realmente es. Lo que si sobresale es su actitud
ReplyDeleteI do like this dress and it fits well, but I'm just getting a little bit tired of her almost exclusively wearing H&M. There are many fabulous Swedish designers, she needs to widen her horizon.
ReplyDeleteDress, handbag, shoes, earrings - wonderful!
ReplyDeleteColour is good, but that´s about it. The style is just dowdy and unflattering. 1977 housewife.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like something Mette-Marit would wear. Too bad Victoria beat her to it. (Not that it had been any more flattering on Mette-Marit, though I can imagine that the colour had worked really well with blonde hair, too)
I like this one, becoming color to Victoria, nice basic work day dress.
ReplyDeleteAgree!
DeleteI am very impressed to know about high awareness of royal families about "Water" such as Crown Prince Naruhito of Japan's attendance at the "World Water Forum" in Brasil in March 2018 and Queen Victoria of Sweden's attendance at the "Discussion on Water" in March 2018.
ReplyDeleteThis dress is badly cut, the pattern is terrible and this special green is too much 😞 . No good advertisement for a well-known Swedish fashion brand!
ReplyDeleteThe clour is flattering, the pattern, the cut, the belt, the neckline(?),
ReplyDeletethe neckline is becoming but the hairdo.
Very fresh and flattering color on Victoria, and the cut of the dress gives a lovely flow to it. Would like to see Victoria wear this style a little more often; it's regal, age-appropriate but not at all stuffy.
ReplyDeleteLovely dress - live the shade of green and the pattern. Wish she would change her hairstyle but guess it will never happen.
ReplyDeleteRobe parfaite pour aller au bureau.
