On March 1, 2018, Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway visited the Oslo School of Architecture and Design. The Oslo School of Architecture and Design (Norwegian: Arkitektur- og designhøgskolen i Oslo), AHO, is an autonomous institution within the Norwegian university system. The school also offers post-professional Master’s courses in Urbanism and Architectural Conservation. |
Black and dowdy. And the centerpart is back.
ReplyDeleteThat is what we here in north do wear winter time, mostly black.
DeleteI´m from the North too, and admittedly, I wear much more dark in winter. I am also bright blonde, which lends an automatic contrasting element (which I think is why blondes get away with dark outfits better than brunettes). Still though, I would not dress entirely in black. It´s just so depressing. A little bit of colour somewhere, even if it´s just an accessory, makes a huge difference.
DeleteShe is a beautiful woman, no doubt. But, maybe because of that, I´m so dissappointed many times when she doesn´t dress to her advantage, and so much potential remains unused.
Pretty much the same here in Melbourne, Australia come winter. Back to black!
DeleteI noticed just about everyone had black on...The sweater could at least had a print on it.
ReplyDeleteMM is a beautiful woman.
ReplyDeleteEs cierto, demasiado negro sobre negro. Podria conbinar o colocarle algo de color.
ReplyDeleteShe is a beautiful and large woman, who wears dark colors well with her blonde hair. I still prefer solid, dark colors verus garish prints and paisleys and trendy stuff that is gone more quickly than it arrived. She appears to have flawless skin and a lovely look on her face ; the middle part looks well on her. Too bad others don't see the simplistic beauty and serenity of her face.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you. Mette-Marit looks wonderful in black. It makes her perfet complexion glow.
DeleteMM is in navy not black. This is the nordic people we alle wear dark colors during the winter ;)
ReplyDeletePrincess Mette Marit of Norway looks very wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI think she looks great. She's a striking and attractive woman and I think the contrast of dark against the very blonde hair looks good.
ReplyDeleteSo easy to just add a scarf and bring some colour and interest to this dowdy outfit. Or pin a brooch. Or anything that would help it not look like she is going to a funeral. Winter or not, it makes me ask ‘Oh, who died?’
