Meghan Markle and Prince Harry visited Birmingham on March 8, International Women's Day. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attended an event which encourages young women to do a career in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (Stem). Then the couple visited Nechells Wellbeing Centre and met with Birmingham's Coach Core apprentices as they were taking part in a training masterclass. |
Bonito look. Me encanta casi todo. el abrigo el buso los zapatos el bolso y su actitud. Solo no me gusta ese cinturón que lleva en la cintura lo cual le pierde elegancia al abrigo parece bata de baño.
ReplyDeleteUmmm...she forgot to cut the white criss cross stitch that keeps the slit at back bottom of the coat closed. She must have just purchased the coat and forgot? I can't imagine she wears all her coats without removing that stitch!
ReplyDeleteOmgoodness! Why didn’t anyone around her notice that?
DeleteNot the end of the world...I guess it shows she doesn't have an assistant and also that no one wants to offend by pointing it out.
DeleteI kind of find that she forgot to snip the white cross stitch ...dear. I mean most people have done this or missed a tag, or those awful sticking tags on jeans...or cut off a tag and left those little bits that held the tag in place off. I find it to show that she is...human. Shows how non OCD and freaked out about being perfect. I love Catherine but I think she is a little bit... too perfect. That has to be exhausting. Jmho
DeleteWhat an eye! I like this blog cause there are people that notice things other's dont.
DeleteLove the coat, hate the trousers.
ReplyDeleteVery elegant. It's becoming clear that Meghan is a rather conservative dresser, with subtle modern twists. I like the white accents against the deep navy. The trousers are neat and current. Love her purse.
ReplyDeleteNeat and current they may be, for now, but they will look terribly dated 15 years down the road.
DeleteI don´t think she´s a conservative dresser. In fact, and unfortunately, I think she´s quite the opposite, going for trendy and edgy.
Well, a lot of items may look dated in 15 years. There's no avoiding that for anyone. However, neat and narrow cropped pants do reappear (they were omnipresent in the 1950s and 1960s--very Audrey Hepburn) and they are classics at this point.
DeleteI love the 8th photo of them walking hand-in-hand. Meghan reminds me of Letizia of Spain in that photo.
This in no way resembles Audrey Hepburn’s classic style. Audrey wore the short slim pants with flats.Meghan loves to wear cropped pants with sky high heels. They do not at all suit her because thru no fault of hers, she has very thin legs. I think it is a huge mistake.
DeleteI personally don't find Meghan very edgy, or even daring. She leans toward simplicity, and IMO she has a natural timeless elegance. I really can't imagine dressing today with the idea of looking current in 15 years. There are very few pieces that can marginally resist the passage of time: pencil skirts below the knee, turtleneck sweaters, button down white shirts ( as long as they have the classic collar) and black A line dresses below the knee. Even the most traditionally dressed woman, are horrified when looking at old pictures😂😂
DeleteSo true, Cherry Blossom, so true. 😊
DeleteMeghan reminds me very much of Audrey Hepburn. Big dark eyes, wide infectious smile, thin and delicate frame. And a certain sweet quality.
DeleteIt seems like black trousers are here to stay 😠😠 perhaps we should be grateful she is not wearing ripped jeans. The coat is nice thou.
ReplyDeleteThese two make me smile every time. She is so elegant. I love her relaxed but chic style. We will see her styled differently when she becomes a Duchess at some events but I think this is how she will dress on away events such aa this where they are actually hands on. This will be her "uniform". It is perfect. Not too stuffy but appropriate and royal enough. I am glad she is not a carbon copy of Catherine. I like both of their styles.
ReplyDeleteWell said. Agree.
DeleteGreat look. Smart, elegant and crisp.
DeleteLove everything, specially the coat and trousers, so Audrey!!!
ReplyDeleteYes, I saw that stich too. Well, she is only human. She seems so sweet.
ReplyDeleteI am not a fan of the cropped pants for this time of the year. She did forget to cut the cross stitch on the coat's back slit.
ReplyDeleteSmart, modern and practical. She looked good.
ReplyDeleteQuestion to the fashion experts: can you combine a navy blue coat with black trousers? I always thought that does not work!
ReplyDeleteWhy wouldn't black and navy be worn together? It can look really good.
DeleteBlack and navy look great together and I see more and more of those two colors together. It seems to be a new trend in fashion.
DeleteClassique urban chique. Pants are too short. This couple looks good together.
ReplyDeleteI like her influence on Prince Harry’s look, as well. “Business Casual”, pairing sweaters/vests with white button downs and jackets. I think this will be their combined style going forward. The more casual, royals vs the more formal Cambridge’s.
ReplyDeleteHappy for them and looking forward to the wedding....
ReplyDelete...charming couple.... ❤
Another wrap coat, more blue, black, and white. In picture 12 she undid her coat and it looks like the belt might be hanging on the ground. I thought Catherine's style was somewhat boring, but Meghan has her beat in that department.
ReplyDeleteI really don't see that she's boring. Neither is Catherine. But I guess it's in the eye of the beholder. Thank goodness they don't dress like the "bling bling" European lesser "royalty".
DeleteI agree Lesile, i was never a fan of Kate's style but Meghan's persistent monochrome colors and same black trousers has made me appreciate Kate's effort.
DeleteI agree that they are a lovely couple and it's great to see them so happy together but I am so disappointed in Meghan's wardrobe to date--I really hoped for some glamour. I spotted a photo of her on the front of a newspaper this week, wearing a royal blue fitted dress and she looked stunning. The succession of wrap coats remind me of dressing gowns and the short trousers and very high shoes just looked awful. I liked the sweater, though, and she has such a lovely smile and seems so genuine when meeting people I remain hopeful that once the weather becomes more springlike......

ReplyDeleteIf I had ankles like that, I'd choose the shorter length on the trousers too.
ReplyDeleteI don't care that she shows her legs/ankles. Because she is just born with those legs, she can't help it and i see no reason for her to hide the legs. They are not beautifull but she has the right to show them. The reason that she dresses quite boring at the moment is not because that is her style, she just does that because she wants to please everyone for now and just look decent, later on her style will be different i guess. But nevertheless i do not like the coat on her, it looks to big, very shapeless.
ReplyDeleteI wish a happy marriage to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
ReplyDeleteLove the sweater, very elegant and timeless. I have the same problem with Meghan as I have with the Duchess of Cambridge, unruly hair! Mary and Letizia have long hair and they almost always keep their locks beautifully groomed.
