King Philippe of Belgium and Queen Mathilde of Belgium are making a State Visit to Canada between the dates of March 11-17 upon invitation of General Governor Julie Payette of Canada. The King and the Queen departed from Brussels Airport today to go to Canada. The royal couple is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Pieter De Crem, Minister of Foreign Affairs Didier Reynders and Regional Presidents. The visit program includes events in Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal.
