| King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan are making a two day official visit to The Netherlands as the guests of King Willem-Alexander. King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima welcomed King Abdullah and Queen Rania with a state ceremony held at Noordeinde Palace. Then the royal couples met with World Class students at Diligentia Theatre in Hague. This programme, set up by The Hague municipality, aims to strengthen the ties between the City of Peace and Justice and local students. Afterwards, Queen Maxima and Queen Rania visited Gemeentemuseum in The Hague. |

From a fashion viewpoint concerning this visit. Tiara? Will Rania wear a full blown tiara? That's all I want from this visit! They look fine here but my anticipation is great. Fingers crossed. Or she can wear her diamond head band. But I yearn for more!

ReplyDeleteMáxima parece un fraile con ese balandrán. La minaudière no es el tipo de bolso más adecuado para una visita al museo ni para una reunión con estudiantes. Rania, por el contrario está preciosa con ese abrigo azul por el que asoma el lazo del cuelo de la blusa.

ReplyDeleteMaxima looks fabulous - love the coat. I like the colour of Rania's coat but that's about it. Agree that there is something of the flight attendant about it. Also the coat seems creased and a bit tight.

ReplyDeleteWowza! -- this is Maxima the way I like to see her -- simple, clean lines, subdued, unified color palette, understated jewelry, hat worn with panache but NOT crazy-big. Regal elegance, yes!
ReplyDeleteBoth ladies look fabulous! The hat tradition is a part of the tradition as the hijab is to other parts of the world. Wish more today women would wear hats, it is simply beautiful.
