In the evening of March 19, 2018, French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron held a state dinner at Elysee Palace of Paris in honour of Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg. The Duke and Duchess of Luxembourg are on a three day state visit to France.

    I love the color of the Grand Duchess’s gown. Both ladies look lovely. The grand Duke gets more handsome with the years.

    This time (as opposed to earlier in the day) Brigitte nailed it perfectly. Stately and elegant. And love Maria Teresa's beautiful gown -- style, the flattering way it drapes her figure and the exqusite color. Five stars to both ladies.

    Nice to see Brigitte Macron in a long dress!
    Grand Duchess Maria Teresa's dress is suitable to her, but it's in a style, we now have seen for years …… and also wearing by other royals. A bit boring dress.

    Fascinantes las dos. El vestido blanco muy elegante y sencillo. definitivamente menos es ,mas. la Gran Duquesa expectacular lindo vestido tono muy favorecedor. Los caballeros. perfectos.

    Both ladies look ravishing. I love how GD Maria-Teresa's green silk chiffon dress creates spectacular sculptural meanders. Also the way her emerald necklace/bandeau is attached by corresponding green sash is wonderful!

      Exactly. Mme Macron has invested heavily in her face, colouring her hair, being stick-thin, etc - and then her poor posture betrays her age anyway. Go big or go home; do it all or don't bother. (And centre parts are not flattering, although it is the current trend.)

    Wow - Maria Teresa looks stunningly beautiful. She almost always dresses so well, but this is exquisite.
    Brigitte Macron instantly looks more elegant and more sincere in a long gown. I like the white, but the metal stuff on her shoulders is a bit too Star Trek for my liking.

      FYI it is not metal. Those are large silver grey glitters. It just doesn't photograph right .
