King Felipe of Spain and Queen Letizia of Spain attended opening of 37th edition of the international Art fair Arco (2018 Contemporary Art Fair) at the IFEMA in Madrid. The ARCO Foundation Collection brings together works that have been acquired at ARCOmadrid every year since 1987. |
All that red. My eyes hurt. But love, love the earrings. The fit of the dress is perfect!
ReplyDeleteI would like to see this outfit with black boots, and purse.
DeleteI am having mixed fellings-I love her hair, earrings and soft dress but red boots it is too much for me :(
ReplyDeleteMaravilloso conjunto.
Ver foto 5...
Stunning. No need to say more.
ReplyDeleteLovely hairstyle and she looks good in red but there's just too much red. Different footwear would have been better choice.
ReplyDeleteAgree totally with you. Red is perfect color to Letizia, but here we have too much red.
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is screaming for a belt to break up that wall of red. I´m thinking a bold dark belt with some interest in itself, something for the eye to rest on. Also, I´d prefer the skirt a bit shorter. The hem here is in no man´s land.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the belt concept it would have broken all the red, I would have used a different handbag, a possible print introducing contratingb, but complimentary colors. That being said, I think she looks fantastic, a totaln10 for me. Red is a very significant color in Spanish tradición and history, and she can definitely pull this monochromatic look. Exquisite hair & makeup.
DeleteBelt would probably make me love it. Very good idea!
DeleteI am seeing red
ReplyDeleteI am seeing red
ReplyDeleteWell, I’m seeing Gustave klimt, “Woman in red” and Edvard Munch “The dance of life”.
DeleteHer hair looks nice.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe so much red! I rarely don't like what she wears but here's an instance.
ReplyDeleteMaybe with a belt, maybe with different boots... in other words, let's second-guess the whole outfit!
I want these boots, but would wear them with short dress. The dress is too long and too voluminous in my eyes. I think it is okay to go all red, but a black purse would have made all the difference.
ReplyDeleteDon't like the hair, it is somehow fuzzy. Am I the only one who misses her bob?
beth, you are not alone. i loved her in that bob hairstyle. Letizia look ok, and i still love her....
DeleteI like the red outfit, a nod to Klimt "The woman in red"? The sleeves are a little too long.
ReplyDeleteI like very much this oufit of hers I think it gives out a romantic air.All is correct for me. Long earrings will have matched with it, too, but, not in red.
ReplyDeleteFully agree with the idea of a romantic touch. Her style is a combination of boldness and romanticism, delicacy and strength. One of her best artistic “appearances” on ARCO, a crazy and incredible contemporary art fair. But K Felipe really does take the biscuit in my view. Suit, tie, he, eveything.
DeleteLike many I'm not sure about the sea of red - the boots, which I love, are too much for me here. That said, she looks fabulous - she always rocks the red and I like the hair and earrings. Possibly a black bag to provide some contrast.
ReplyDeleteOnly Letizia can wear such an outfit. As for all the red: It is an Art fair. How wonderful that she looks like a piece of art herself!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, stunning!
ReplyDeleteKing Felipe and Princess Letizia of Spain look wonderful
ReplyDeletetoo much red
ReplyDeleteLove the boots!
ReplyDeleteShe is definitely in need of attention. A belt of different color would have certainly save the look. Boots are not quite the same red as the skirt and the top. She rarely misses it.
ReplyDeleteAll I can think of is a lobster
Are you hungry? I think I'll have a tuna-sandwich now...
DeleteJust hope you don't nibble too hard. And Angie… you are GREAT! I'm dieing of laughter!
ReplyDeleteAnd not only that, but spiders, beetles and many other horrible and very BIG things!
