In connection with first day of Castrum Doloris, Danish royal family visited Prince Henrik's coffin which was brought to Christiansborg Palace Church in Copenhagen. The coffin was brought to Christiansborg Chapel yesterday evening and it will stay at the Palace Church for three days for the final farewell. The funeral services will take place on February 20, Tuesday. Prince Henrik died on Tuesday evening last week at Fredensborg Palace which is the summer residence of the Royal couple. |
On February 16, 2018, Prince Henrik's coffin was brought to Christiansborg Palace Church by Royal Guard Soldiers. The coffin will stay at the church from Saturday to Monday for the final farewell (Castrum Doloris) of people. |
Very quiet, solemn and worthy farewell the Danes and the family are taking with Prince Henrik, RIP. There will be no state funeral on Tuesday, only a private.
