ReplyDeleteShe looks good and dignified. And that feels so great after a long row of unfortunate outfits. Now, I don´t think this dress fits her perfectly (I´m especially doubtful about the shoulder pads) but I like the style and the colour. It is a festive dress and appropriate to mark Lithuania´s big anniversary, while still being simple with clean lines to work as a day dress.
ReplyDeleteI think her coat is the same model as the mint green one she wore while hosting William and Kate. Not a bad coat, although I don´t really like the very prominent gold buttons, gives it a bit of a military feel. The hat I really like - not only because it is the perfect choice for a cold day and matches the coat´s fur collar, but it´s also a nod to traditional East European head gear.
And finally, I´m very glad she opted for proper boots rather than booties. Makes a world of a difference.
Love this. The dress, especially the colour and fabric, is stunning and her hair is glossy and chic.

ReplyDeleteI can't see a hairnet? But anyway, she has the type of hair (as have I) that easily gets unruly, espeially in damp conditions, which I think is the reason for her, in my opinion, unflattering hairstyles.
