Swedish Royals attended 2017 Nobel Prize Banquet

In the evening of December 10, King Carl Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Prince Carl Philip, Princess Sofia, Christopher O'Neill, Princess Christina and Tord Magnuson attended 2017 Nobel award Banquet at Stockholm City Hall. (Princess Madeleine were unable to attend the banquet because of her pregnancy.) The Nobel Banquet in Stockholm are arranged by the Nobel Foundation and are primarily an academic celebration focusing on science and literature.

    This may be my favorite Nobel year, fashion-wise. I love all the gowns, which are very different from each other, on Silvia, Victoria, Sofia and Madeleine. Sofia's tiara with the pearls is perfect and the delicate fabric of her dress in the photo above is exquisite. I also love the vibrant color and simple design of Silvia's gown.

    Sílvia- nice color, beautiful fábrica but a bit meh.


    Victoria - unpopular opinion but I dont like this dress at all. Nice color though

    Sofia - very nice dress for a chance ( yes I AM complementing her, what a choker 😂😂😂)

    Madeleine - amazing dress. Love the details on the top. Comfortable for a pregnant lady too. She wears tiaras like no other.

      Agree about Victoria: nice color but that is all. This dress was not suitable for The Nobel Awards Ceremony. The way this style accentuate her breast is tacky for this kind of event and I believe her nipple showed on some pictures. The clown collar also looks ugly. Her flatly tight hairstyle does no justice to this amazing tiara nor to her facial features. One of her worst looks during Nobels imo.

      Dianne no problem. Madeleine was at the ceremony that happen before the banquet. I remember her dress ( also the previous post show her outfit).

    Sofia continues to up her game! She is developing a great style! She looks every inch a royal!

    Silvia looks ok

    Victoria? Love the color but that fabric and look is a big MEH to me! I do not like it at all!


    As to all of you talking about how great Madeline looks? LOOK AGAIN she is NOT THERE LADIES. Not sure what you are seeing but she is not there.

      Madeleine did not attend the banquet -- she's suffering from the back pains due to her pregnancy and its a long dinner to attend (IIRC she did have the same problem when she was expecting Leonore).
      Missed seeing Madeleine at the banquet. At least she was present at the award ceremony and she will be attending tonight's king dinner.
