On December 1, Friday, Prince Gabriel was baptised by Archbishop Emeritus Anders Wejryd at Stockholm Drottningholm Palace Chapel. Today, on December 4, official baptism photos of Prince Gabriel were published at the royal website. The photos were taken by photographer Erika Gerdemark at Drottningholm Palace. |
Lovely pictures! How cute Alexander is and how beautiful Victoria looks.
ReplyDeleteTotalmente de acuerdo
DeleteWonderful family and perfect background.Colours of walls go together with colours of dressup.
ReplyDeleteWhen will it be posible to see Prince Gabriel's face?
ReplyDeleteNot even in the official photos of his baptism?
Good question! I did see one photo of Sofia holding him where you could partially see his eyes and they appeared to be blue.
DeleteMan spread HUH? Sofia's sister should have worn a dress with less decolletage. As should the aunt of Sofia's. She has ample cleavage.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely agree. Sofia's sister, Sara (in green), looked like a desperate attention-seeker who thought the whole event was to show herself off. No other woman, especially a Godmother, dressed that way. And Sofia's mother, in dark blue dress, has worn too tight dresses to every royal event she has attended. The only family members who seemed fairly normal were her Sofia's father and sister Lina (in rose-pink) who is really beautiful and dressed appropriately.
DeleteI don’t know what to say with respect to your comments without stooping to your level of pettiness. I think your comments are horrible. What gives you the right to criticize and judge people. I thought this site was to critique fashion not people.
DeleteYou are the judgmental one, Elaine. Your petty response to legitimate opinions about inappropriate dressing at a christening reveals your own intolerance of opinions that differ from your own. Sara's dress was not appropriate and differed markedly from every other woman in the christening group. Sofia's mother's dress was too tight and this is. It her first appearance in similarly ill-fitting outfits. ATL and I have every right to our opinions. If you want to be protected against opinions that differ from your own, do not visit a blog filled with very interesting people who seldom agree but always shed new light on fashion.
DeleteElaine, thank you!! I can't see the scandal on the sister's cleavage, neither can I read her mind to decipher if she had ulterior motives of attention seeking. SMH!!!!
DeleteI notice the cleavage too. After the batism it was a bit windy, as normal this time of years, and her dress went up. She manager to stop it. It was caught on a few photos and videos of the event.
DeleteIn her defense, i may add, it would be hard to believe that at least Sofia didnt know what her sisters would be wearing. I believe that the queen probably know too. After all she is the godmother.
I agree with Pine. (After all, Elaine is asking that we monitor, edit and constrain our true reactions to these photos. I do agree, however, that these comments should not cross a certain line of propriety.) My first reaction to seeing Sofia's sister, Sara, during the christening was that her neckline was far too low and inappropriate for this important religious occasion. And to give Sara credit, in the official photos taken she has taken care to hide the large tattoo on her right arm which was visible during the service. And now for Sofia's other sister, Lina. She was perfect and appropriate in every way -- a beautiful, dignified woman.
ReplyDeletebe a little concerened, the sisters and parents are normal working people, and i will not be happy if my sister married a prince , difficult situation, to buy always exprensive dresses etc etc.
ReplyDeleteSofia's sister Lina's pretty dress is from Day, Souk rouge.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was a beautiful christening and everyone dressed perfectly. I especially enjoyed seeing Sofia's mum, she looked very stylish and navy really suits her.
