On November 21, 2017, Queen Silvia, Princess Sofia and Prince Carl Philip of Sweden attended a dyslexia symposium on the theme "Dyslexialand", held at Bernadotte Library in Stockholm Royal Palace. Minister of Education, Gustav Fridolin also attended the symposium held by Prince Carl Philip's and Princess Sofya's Foundation. (Princess wore an Palasan white dress by RODEBJER). |
What a horrible dress!
ReplyDeleteI don't like that dress either. But Sofia looks charming and pretty anyway!
DeleteCoralie, I agree. She looks charming - despite the dress.
DeleteHowever, I don't understand why Silvia seems to want to wear frumpy clothes which are unflattering and aging.
Yes, Coralie!
Delete¿A qué viene usted, sólo a insultar?
Nanni, what a mean comment.
DeleteBlondiini, but it´s true, Sofia urgently needs a stylist or any other help which shows her what to wear. She is beautiful, no doubt about it, but she could do better. That isn´t mean.
DeleteNot the most flattering dress for Sofia but she is breastfeeding a 3-month old baby and chasing a toddler right now. The dress looks comfortable and non-binding. And it's appropriate for a work meeting on a serious subject like dyslexia.
ReplyDeleteAgree, not very flattering but not also so bad some write. I think this dress is much better in pics taken without flash, like the last pic here. I think Sofia looks here good enough.
DeleteI think a belt would have made this dress look better.
DeleteEl vestido es simplón y feo. Hasta le queda mal a la modelo. Otra vez irá mejor.
ReplyDeleteShe is very beautiful but wears unflattering print dresses.
ReplyDeleteI don't care for this dress at all although it an appropriate choice for the occasion. This dress would be improved if it had a modest scoop or V neckline to break up its too solid look.

ReplyDeleteCette robe n’est pas très flatteuse!
ReplyDeleteAppropriate.
ReplyDeleteMein Gott, Sofias Kleid ist furchtbar.
ReplyDeleteThe dress gives me two vibes: either nightwear or hospital gown, neither of which are flattering. The dress needed a few changes to become more of an elegant day dress: lower the neckline (square neckline?), shorten it to knee-length and add a belt (ideally to match bag and shoes). Overall, it also seems a bit large on her, so maybe a size smaller had been better.
ReplyDeleteNot her best look. It even looks bad on the model. The color washes her out but at least her hair and smile are pretty. Queen Silvia doesn't fare much better, that shawl doesn't go with her outfit at all
ReplyDeleteShe hasn't learn the trick of wearing a stylish blazer with a print dress. CP Mary, the Duchess of Cambridge, Queen Letizia and Countess Sofia will often add a nice blazer that compliments the dress.
