As the patron of United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), the Crown Princess wrote the preface of the book "#Childmothers" |
The book tells about 17 girls from five developing countries. Those 17 girls have been mothers between the ages of 12-15. Princess Mary visited one of those young mothers during her travel to Burkina Faso in April 2016. |
In the book, there are photos depicting the dramas of those young mothers. The photos have been taken by photographer Pieter ten Hoopen. In addition to that, some photos of the Crown Princess have been included in the book. |

ReplyDeleteYou are so right, Catchie. Mother at the age of twelve - we need global birth control. And above all we need every girl to go to school, as there is a correlation between education of girls und birthrate.
Delete12 year old girls should not be on birth control - the men that get these girls pregnant should learn to control themselves!!!
DeleteThat is true, Angela!
DeleteLet's call it what it is, child abuse!
DeleteFashon remark: Black pencil skirt and red blouse are a good choice, I don't like the shoes with that outfit and would have preferred black shoes without 'bling'.
