Nigeria visit of Queen Maxima of the Netherlands, 2nd Day

On November 1, Wednesday, the Queen's visit to Nigeria continued in the capital, Abuja. On the 2nd day of her visit to Nigeria, Queen Maxima met with representatives of Nigerian Diamond Bank, World Bank Group and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. In the afternoon, the Queen met with the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, Nigeria's Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo and Minister of Finance of Nigeria, Kemi Adeosun. The entire outfit of the Queen is by the Belgian brand, Natan.

      Plus ca change, plus c'est la meme chose, elle semble se foutre eperdument de l'impression qu'elle donne avec son 'manque de coiffure'. Shame on her.

    I find Queen Maxima's outfit very unflattering. The short, bright jacket and her fuller skirt make her look stocky. The yellow and orange accessories and the multi-coloured dress are just too much. And her untidy hair does her no favours. Nonetheless, I always get the sense that she is a very warm and wonderful lady.

    Lizette, thank you for explaining that the orange scarf was a gift. I wondered about it. And nice that she chose to wear it!
    What else to say? I'm sure she wowed them with her charm, and the the outfit was colourful, if not very flattering. But the hair, oh dear.

    How does she have the energy to be dedicated to so many charities and speeches? She is a wonderful Queen and a gifted woman. The Dutch are so blessed to have her, as is the world.
