Golden Jubilee took place in the capital city Bandar Seri Begawan of Brunei Sultanate. Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah acceded to the throne as the Sultan of Brunei on October 5, 1967 after his father retired on October 4, 1967. |

ReplyDeleteLove the look Sophie and Edward have in 3rd pic, they seem to be each others best friends. Sophie looks mint in first pictures, love the hat. But I would have liked much more if she had real earrings, not just resin and crystal (plastic and glas) ones from Dior.

DeleteI remember Edward saying, around the time they were engaged, that Sophie was his best friend, as well as the woman he loved. Seems that it was true. Classic British clothes suit Sophie and she looks good in hats.

DeleteCharles, Anne and Andrew's marriages were disasters, so anything is better compared to that. Sophie and Edward are on an official tour but they do seem happy together, unlike Charles and Diana's last official tour.

ReplyDeleteSophie looks lovely - I can't really see the dress but I like the top part and I like the hat, I think she wears them well.
ReplyDeletePoor Edward is going to have a sunburned pate while Sophie is in the shade under her stylish hat. From what we can see, the skirt seems to be one of those fullish stiff ones that are not very flattering on Sophie but she looks lovely nonetheless.

ReplyDeleteSophie looks beautiful: hat, top and skirt. Lovely face and hair-do. She dresses better than Kate and is regal yet approachable. What an asset to the Royal Family!
