ReplyDeleteBenedikte has a lot better taste and fashion sense than her sister. Benedikte and Mary are winners for me here. Looks like Mary and Frederik has got a new spark in their relationship lately, they just look happy and in love when together. Good to see!

DeleteThere is a difference between free-spirited and just weird. Margarethe seems to step over this fine line the more the older she gets.
ReplyDeleteQueen Margrethe's bouquet looks very special ...... but the royals are all dressed fairly ordinarily for a parliament's opening in comparison with England and the Netherlands, IMO. Not much celebration about it!
ReplyDeleteYes, look at the Queen's shoes and skirt. HM could wear them just to go shopping or for a walk. It's not an important celebration as the Queen has not an especial seat in the Parliament. Every country has its own traditional.

The best looking for me here is Marie - I especially like her hat, Mary and Benedikte are also elegant, the Queen, well, she has her own style.
