MT looks lovely in this color. I like Stephanie's color saturation and the heel strap issue, taken in stride. I also like her sister-in-law's hat and shoe combo! Would love to see a better pic of the queen's jacket because I don't like it from the front

DeleteAh, the ladies all chose lovely outfits, the military look properly be-medalled, but Stephanie needs a few more inches of skirt. She looks so different from the others that you instantly notice the shortness of her dress. Too bad - it is very pretty otherwise. She sure loves peep-toe shoes!

DeleteDefinitely too short but otherwise very nice. Rania looks ridiculous, and M-T should wear styles that elongate the figure rather than make it look boxy.
DeleteI'm more bothered by Rania's outfit than what Stephanie is wearing. Her dress hanging out below her coat just looks plain silly.

DeleteClaire is beautiful and she looks beautiful here as always. But it's August, summer time!!!! I would wear that coat (with pleasure) in the winter. I know that the weather in England is complicated but still...

ReplyDeleteQueen Rania would have been lovely if the coat had just been an even length all around. As is, it is a very strange combination.Red seems to be a good color for most of the royals.
Now to the Grand Duchess: the squared, padded shoulders that she seems to prefer do her no favors. She looks like a rectangular box walking. Also, the length needs to be a little shorter to show the curve just below the knee. I dislike being this harsh but I know she can find a more attractive style. The color of this suit is very nice on her.

ReplyDeleteI'm also more bothered by Rania's weird outfit than Stephanie's short skirt. Rania would have looked amazing if the coat dress had a real hemline.
Stephanie looks nice although I'm not a fan of that colour. Perhaps the skirt is a bit short but it's not so bad.
Maria Teresa is predictable in the boxy coat over a dress. I rather think that style draws more attention to what she is trying to hide.
Claire looks a little odd with the huge hat on top of what seems to be a bathrobe.
😂 grand duchess Maria Teresa looks like Mrs. Potts frome Beauty and the Beast. Stephanie is hettinf better and better, I start to expect always something good from her. Rania is always doing her fashion experiments but with black bag?!?

ReplyDeleteRania for once has a fashion miss. The coat's uneven hem ruins the coat. From the front the coat looks great, but then you see how short the back of the coat is versus the front, it looks like a mess. If the coat was longer in the back, it would have been perfect. Stephanie continues to look good. Kuddos to her stylist for the great fashion makeover. I don't mind the hem shortness considering her clothes in the past which were awful. This coat and dress combo look good on her.

DeleteStephanie looks really good, I mean she is finally looking like she's wearing high-end clothes. Claire is appropriate and Rania would have looked better if, dare I say, nude shoes...I know we are all bored with the nude shoes but her coat is such a strong color that the shoes make for tacky look because they don't match the coat.
ReplyDeleteThe pale aqua blue color is absolutely beautiful on Stephanie. And she has accessorized so well. Texture of coat works with earrings. I am actually not bothered by the short length of her dress--it is still summer and she has great legs!

ReplyDeleteDuchess/Princess Stephanie looks stunning. With those legs she can wear her dress that length. Don't what happened with the shoes, but not to worry. Her beautiful smile delete the mishap. If it is a mishap. Happened to the best of us. The jacket that the Duchess is wearing might of a very light material. It just give the WOW effect to the outfit.

ReplyDeleteSpeaking of short skirts, I just saw a group photo of the Lux family on a Luxembourg site and Alexandra is wearing a dress short enough to make Stephanie's look like a nun's habit.

Deleteyou mean the lady on the left? With the dark blue Minidress? Yes, it is very short. but it is a 'look', a modern style, while Stéphanie's dress ist old fashioned and out of proportions. In fact I think this blue dress plus hat, shoes and accessoires in beige is the only good look here. The other ladies look horrible and sometimes I wonder how one can waste a lot of money for nothing. The worst is Rania. No words! She should not wear High Heels, she can't walk in them, she gets a really odd posture in these heels and is stalking around like a stork.
DeleteBeth; out of proportion is so well said about Stephanie´s clothes here. I remember myself going years ago to one dress shop, trying clothes when the owner came to say: "Madam, these are definitely very wrong length to you all." I had never noticed what difference right hem length made before. She was so right and I am still happy she did say that.
DeleteI do not comment Rania´s clothes because I do not understand them. Maybe it is different culture or something. I know she spends a lot of money to her clothes and they must be fashionable. Still I do not understand them.
May be Alexandra (the lady with the short dress) is a bit thinner and that's why she looks so stylish and modern?
