On August 17, 2017, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark participates in the official opening of Odense Flower Festival 2017 (Odense Blomsterfestival) at the Flakhaven (Town Hall) square in Odense, Denmark. The flower festival was held for the first time in 1999. Crown Princess became patron of the flower festival in 2012. Crown Princess wore a black and white floral dress by Ralph Lauren. |
Goodness, has a year gone by already since she last did this? That day she wore a pretty colorful outfit which was the colors of the flowers she was presenting that day. I like the black and white, too, because they let the floral displays stand out. She looks so lovely!
ReplyDeleteAgreed but Mary should follow Queen Elizabeth's custom of avoiding hats that cover her face. The people at these events want to see her and she does look lovely.
DeleteGood suggestion! Maybe she will read this and look for a different style.
DeleteI love this dress; it's ladylike and understated, but not boring. The size and/or position of the hat force her to hold her head at an unfortunate angle. Not flattering, in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteMary wears hat only to protect her against the rain, I think.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful dress!

ReplyDeleteDress is pretty, summer and simply. She looks good and suitable as usual.
ReplyDeletePretty dress with a classic simple style. I don't like the hat - too big and shading her eyes too much.
ReplyDeleteShe works really hard.
