Father of Queen Maxima, Jorge Zorreguieta died at 89

Father of Queen Maxima, 89 years old Jorge Zorreguieta (born on January 18, 1928) lost his life on August 8 at Buenos Aires Fundaleu Hospital where he was undergoing a treatment. Zorreguieta has been receiving lymphoma treatment for nearly 20 years and he was in the intensive care unit for the last one week. Queen Maxima went to Buenos Aires on Saturday, she was planning to get back to Netherlands on Monday, however she decided to stay in Buenos Aires after that touchy situation.
Royal Press Office of Netherlands made a statement on Koninklijk Huis official website on behalf of Queen Maxima and King Willem-Alexander. In the statement, it was said that "We announce very sadly that father of Queen Maxima, Jorge Zorreguieta has died at the age of 89 due to lymphoma. Queen Maxima, King Willem-Alexander and their daughters, Princesses Catharina-Amalia, Alexia and Ariane announced that they will attend the special funeral to be held".
