On August 12, 2017, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden attended the prize-giving ceremony for the Themed Gardens exhibition at Solliden Palace in Öland. Yesterday, Queen Silvia of Sweden visited SilviaBo project at Ikea in Älmhult, Silviahemmet's adapted housing for people with dementia. The project has been made possible thanks to a private donation by Ingvar Kamprad. |
Queen Silvia is quite lovely from the waist up. These long jackets may be the fashion now but to me the proportions are very clumsy with anything other than a skirt that falls just below the kneecap. If this jacket had ended anywhere on her hipline, not below, it would have been a vast improvement. Altogether it just looks too big for her.
ReplyDeleteHer jacket certainly seems to be too big and does not fit well - baggy around the shoulders. And definitely too long, especially for summer.
ReplyDeleteI see two kinds of trousers and shoes... jeans and a more chique one.
ReplyDeleteand one blouse + one striped t-shirt...............
DeleteNot best Silvia here. Softer colors look today much better on her. Also jacket does not fit at all.
