Duchess Catherine of Cambridge, Patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (AELTC), attends day one of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships at the Wimbledon on July 3, 2017 in London, United Kingdom. The Duchess wore a polka dot dress by DOLCE & GABBANA. (This page will be updated) |
I like it...pretty summery look...nice handbag and shoes too...
ReplyDeleteYes, a nice "go with everything" shoe for the summer. The bag is to die for. I have a tan one (not the designer bag, Lol)- that goes with a lot.
DeleteWow, she's getting "brave": cutting her hair quite a length for the summer! Not bad.
DeleteAlthough I think, this dress does not look like a'n expensive "Dolce & Gabbana" (could be very well a Highstreet/£50,-dress too...). I like her natural style today. Like a'n easy summer-afternoon and later for a'n ice-cream.... The Make-up is not "caked", she has very beautiful legs and lovely summery shoes. (Where is Pippa to join her sister?:). Have fun, Kate!
Why do people cal her a "fashion icon"? Boring.... Old lady sunday dress!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree. Nothing against Catherine, she can look very pretty at times, but she is not a fashion icon, she is no Audrey Hepburn.
DeleteLike the new hair... thought
ReplyDeleteMust have had a lot of split ends. She got a lot taken off.
DeleteI like everything, different than usual. As if she would have hired a stylist..
ReplyDeleteBoring dress, haiedresser and old lady fashion bag
ReplyDeletenothing interesting!!
ReplyDeleteBouh bouh bouh..... peut mieux faire!
ReplyDelete"Rose", quel triste commentaire.:( Porqui la resistance?? Elle est tres belle... "Maybe you had a bad day?"
DeleteLove her look absolutely stunning
ReplyDeleteI dont like her shorter hair. It seems less voluminous than usual. Otherwise its good to see her in sandals, but in open shoes I personally dont like natural pedicure.
ReplyDeleteStylish as always. Not a personal fan of that many polka dots, but on her it looks good. I have a similar handbag in tan.
ReplyDeleteSo many negative comments - interesting that she stirs this up when others get a pass for looking worse.
ReplyDeleteShe looks lovely and I like the shorter hair.
I agree. There is nothing to dislike here IMHO.
DeleteTotally agree. Shorter hair looks smart.
DeleteI hadn't even noticed the shorter hair, to me, it could be shorter still. Nothing wrong with the dress, I don't like polka dots for myself but it's fine for anyone who does like them. The bag doesn't go well with the dress and seems to suit an older woman more, but, again, if she likes it, that's all that's needed.
DeleteI love the shorter hair and the dress is young and cute! Well done, Duchess.
ReplyDeleteHer new shorter hair is fantastic! You can actually focus on her beautiful face more without the distraction of overwhelming hair. Much more groomed and professional but still pretty. Dress is Ok. I like the large pearl and gold earrings that also draw the eye toward her face.
ReplyDeleteLong bob with a red hue, nice!
ReplyDeleteShe looks lovely!
ReplyDeleteLovely
ReplyDeleteI like this. The hair is fresh and much lighter, as if she got rid of a burden that had weighed her down for so long. The dress is fun and cute and still elegant and pretty.
ReplyDeleteI´m a bit let down by that bag though. I find it too big, and the white is weird with the black shoes. I would have really chosen something colourful for a bag.
Also, I have issues with the execution of the dress. With a pattern so bold, I think the polkadots really needed to be arranged better at the waist, more symmetrical and with (ideally) no "cut" dots. The model´s version is much better, and I think a high-end designer should pay attention to such detail. Or, with the dot situation as is, I would have opted for a thin black belt to cover up the so obvious seams.
On the plus side, however, I like how Catherine opted for a square neckline as a nice contrast to all the round dots (rather than the model´s round neckline which is very boring).
Was very tired of her usual closed toe pumps, so I'm liking the change in shoes! Another highlight is the this VB tote. Much more pleasing than her crotch grabbing clutches. Thumbs up overall!
ReplyDeleteShe is still crotch grabbing though.
DeleteI like it - a nice smart summery look for Wimbledon. I like the shoes and prefer the shorter hair. I'm not a huge fan of the bag but it's OK.
ReplyDeleteAre those earrings in honour to Princess Diana? Are they even hers maybe?
ReplyDeleteHurrah for her new hair cut!
ReplyDeleteI think she looks lovely. She has such a vivacious personality!
ReplyDeleteShe looks cute and fun!
ReplyDeleteFinally Kate!! Lovely dress, age appropriate, toes enjoying the summer, and killer bag. Nice hair as well.
ReplyDeleteA 10 for me.
The Duchess of Cambridge, the style icon. Magnificent and stunning as always. I don't think Victoria Beckman will have granny bags. Those bags are a fashion item now. The Duchess had the same bag with a yellow outfit last year at Wimbledon. Her stunning personality enhanced by the photographs.
