On June 16, 2017, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his wife Elke Buedenbender are welcomed by Queen Mathilde of Belgium and King Philippe of Belgium ahead of a meeting at Laeken Castle in Brussels, Belgium.
The brownish purple patches on the dress are highly unfortunate.
ReplyDeleteThe whole dress is unfortunate
DeleteMathilde seems to have a lot of fun picking out fabrics to wear. I like this look! It's fresh and happy-looking.
ReplyDeleteNice dress. ( I didn't notice the purple patches until they were mentioned, now I think they do detract from the dress a bit)
ReplyDeleteMathilde has the face of an angel, and the best royal hair in all the land. Several other royal ladies could take a cue from her hairdresser (clip clip!). This isn't my favorite dress, but I think for a slender woman Mathilde has a more difficult body type than we realize.
ReplyDeleteI like the length and the cut which allows for a lot of variations. Unfortunately, Mathilde opts for a helmet like, matronly style most of the time. Agree for her face expression, she's got very beautiful eyes full of warmth.
DeleteMathilde appears always very thoughtful and willing to listen. Always involved, genuine and preoccupied by the cause at hand. This isn't my favourite dress, but it's interesting, fits her well and overall it's a great look.
