DeleteI've been enjoying seeing this lovely queen and her family and wish her a good year to come. Since the style of dress is so different from what we usually see here, can someone tell me the idea of the sleeves with the roll-up cuffs? Were they originally to be rolled down, if needed, for weather problems? Or what? I like the opportunity they give to add an accent color to the main outfit.
ReplyDeleteK Hass: Maybe it's simply the style and shows the silky "inside" fabric as a beautiful colour-effect on the outside of the costume? I think they must have a cosy and warm inside-lining against cold temperatures.- Somehow she looks always a bit sad/introverted, but maybe she is just not allowed to give us the great big "Duchess Kate"-smile... Beautiful!!
