Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco hosted a reception for the 'The Bold and The Beautiful' 30th Years anniversary during the 57th Monte Carlo TV Festival (Festival de Television de Monte-Carlo - FTV2017) at the Prince's Palace (Palais Princier) on June 18, 2017 in Monte-Carlo, Monaco. |
She looks very good - red is one of the best colours on her and I like the simple stylishness of the dress. I also like the necklace although some people might find the juxtaposition of cross and cleavage a bit odd.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, it's a thumbs up from me - she looks lovely.
Franny, it's true and don't forget to mention good-looking Albert. (Well, I do think, he looks tres chic too.)
DeleteI agree Franny. An opinion only: I would love for an added belt but that is because she has a lovely figure.
DeleteI thought both Albert and Charlene looked the best in that crowd! He looks great with the sparky red tie and white pants and Charlene's red dress is lovely. She has a sweet look to her face with her hair getting a bit longer. It does bother me to see the cross used that way, though. Poor choice.
DeleteIt bothers me too, to see the cross used that way. She suddenly goes from almost never wearing a necklace, to the biggest there is.
DeleteSure!
DeleteOh wow! What a worthwhile cause to show up for (sarcasm alert...). The cross is an interesting accessory.
ReplyDeleteWell, they got to do something with their time
ReplyDeleteI shall no longer comment when other Monaco royals spend time at fashion shows or the circus.
DeleteShe couldn't go to the opening of a swimming pool named in her honour but shows up for this fluff?
Whilst I understand the point you're making the TV festival is a big event in Monaco and generates business. Anyway, I too don't understand how its decided what she does and doesn't attend.
DeleteCharlène est ravissante et Albert est top aussi.
ReplyDeleteCharlene looks gorgeous here. Love her red dress, and its plunging neckline looks lovely with the necklace and gives good proportions to her body. She looks so much more younger and confident these days. Albert looks also good.
ReplyDeleteHalf the women look like they showed up in their negligees. Very poor taste.
ReplyDeleteJe suis ravie de voir que la princesse est rétablie !
ReplyDeleteHeather, Princess Charlene did not go to the opening of the swimming pool because she was unwell. So please get your facts right before commenting sarcastically.
ReplyDeleteI have not seen mention of that. If so, I'm glad she's now well enough to attend this event...
DeleteI thought it was because she had a clashing engagement with the children's lifesaving day at the Larvotto beach... That annual event for her foundation.
DeleteIt's offensive and against the church laws to desecrate a rosary in such a manner! It's absolutely disgusting.
ReplyDeleteAgree with you completely!
DeleteDesecrate? Blasphemy? It's a piece of jewelry, not a rosary, sheesh. I am Catholic and don't see anything wrong at all with it. She looks amazing!
DeleteAgree not a rosary and I am Catholic also. Nothing wrong with this outfit and jewelry. She looks lovely.
DeleteShe looks beautiful, red is her color. Albert has lost weight and looks pretty dapper. A great looking couple.
ReplyDeleteThat red is perfect to Charlene and she look beautiful. BUT. The rosary. It is totally out of place there with neckline open to navel and in TV-festival contest. That could be sure called blasphemy.
ReplyDeleteThat is not a rosary, it is a pearl necklace with a cross on it... No blasphemy here
DeleteAs far as I can see that is not a rosary ,it is a pearl necklace with a cross on the end.I think Princess Charlene looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSie sieht sehr gut aus.
ReplyDeleteSie sieht sehr gut aus.
ReplyDeleteSie sieht sehr gut aus. Rot ist ihre Farbe.
ReplyDeleteOne word for Princess Charlene Gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteThe Grimaldi family has been very catholic (fully observing the tradition) for centuries and I have to assume that the cross is an heirloom. Otherwise it's completely out of place. Lovely dress and it fits her perfectly. A nice belt would have added some definition to the waist.
