On the first day of their Orkney Islands visit, Crown Princess Mette-Marit and Crown Prince Haakon attended the memorial ceremony of Norwegians who buried at Orkney St. Olaf Cemetery in Scotland on the occasion of the official visit in connection with the St. Magnus festival. Then, the Crown Prince and Crown Princess visited the St. Magnus Cathedral and Kirkwall Town Hall. 16 June 2017 |

Both CP Haaken and CP Mette-Marit look very nice for the occasion and weather. I like his darker navy suit and wide-spread shirt collar. Mette-Marit's white pantsuit is lovely, a bit snug in the upper arms, but a good look on her.
ReplyDeleteThe white dress is nice. And I understand the somber black coat with it given the memorial visit at the cemetery. And it clearly also suited Mette-Marit´s love for black-and-white outfits.
ReplyDeleteThe cream coloured outfit for arrival is nice too, but the coat doesn´t fit her well (the usual tightness around her upper arms + sleeves too short). And she needs a better bra and/or better posture.
Still, overall good show with two very elegant, sleek no-nonsense outfits.
Very nice.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! The colours suit her.
ReplyDeleteAs others have said, there's the usual problem with the fit of the cream dress and jacket, but it is a good look overall.
Love to see her in these more tailored, structured clothes! Personally don't care for the nude pumps with the dark coat. Still, the departure from her less structured dresses is working for her!
ReplyDeleteLovely.
ReplyDeleteGood outfits!!! Pleasantly surprised!
