Terrible pants! Cropped, flared pants with these shoes do not go together at all! Sorry Kate.....!
ReplyDeleteI also thought it looks odd
DeleteFlared, cropped pants do not go with these shoes.....Sorry, Kate, not the best outfit you have worn.
ReplyDeleteThat was my first thought, that this seems to be a 'sporty' place, so why not some cute flat shoes?
Deletein my opinion, one of the worst casual outfit of the Duchess... the lenght of the trousers doesnt allow it to be flare; the shoes are so terrible too...
ReplyDeleteLa princesse a grandi ou bien ses pantalons ont rétréci.Pas beau !
ReplyDeleteIl parvient même à lui boudiner les fesses, alors qu'elle est mince comme un fil !
DeleteC'est moche
DeleteAs always the Duchess look terrific and classy.
ReplyDeleteThe Duchess of Cambridge in her new J Crew Sailor Pant in Two-Way Wool. The Italian-made, pointed-toe style features textured tweed fabric, tassel details and a stacked heel for maximum wear ability (for the treasure hunt) and comfort. Duke and Duchess and Prince Harry donated to the Evening Standard's fund for victims of the Grenfell Tower Fire. The Standard reports: "William, Kate and Harry — who were deeply moved as they watched the horror unfold barely a mile from their Kensington Palace home — were among the first to donate.
ReplyDeleteFor all the pines, Chipp 95s, Sakurahimes and rainha Leonors: 16 June: Her Majesty and Prince William visited the Westway Sports Centre in London - the centre has been a focal point for efforts to support those affected by the fire.
Great, Anna-Marie! Everyone!!!, who has a heart, was deeply moved. Thanks for your comment. I am sure, they don't live from benefits, and they will be the future King and Queen. So what do you want to tell us? I am so glad. Anything else? Spare us with those comments. (Where does your first sentence com from??)
DeleteAbout Fashion: Dear Catherine, where did you found that stuff? Not good today, really. This is a rare "No Go". (I love your beautiful hair always!)
And as for the donation, its time they did that instead of rennovating homes with millions of pounds in which they do not even live!!!
DeleteIts technically our money with what they have donated. And i am glad that the money will be used for a worthy cause !!!!
Chippy 95, thanks! :)
DeleteVery strange outfit. But it is still better than that too-tight-too-short awkward blue suit. At least she can move and sit down easily with the children.
ReplyDeleteLa veste, je dis oui, le pantalon et les chaussures je dis non !
ReplyDeleteI think she looks nice, even though I'm not keen on cropped pants.
ReplyDeleteOkay, maybe the shoes, while really cute and a bit retro, don't really match the outfit - but I'm sure she would have been criticized if she had just worn flats, or worse, higher heels.
Her hair is so weird lately. She used to have a straight simple side parting but now her front and top pieces are falling the opposite direction than they supposed to according the parting she has. It gives extra volume I get it but in my opinion she doesn't need it. Her hair is thick enough and it's everywhere. I think she could use a good haircut instead of this weird "combing the hair the opposite way" thing. I don't like her outfit. It's a big fail for me. But that is just an opinion. Sorry for my bad english. I hope I'm understandable.
ReplyDeleteOk, maybe the shoes are not the best for the outfit, but I am excited that she wore a pair of pants that are not skinny pants. Besides these are the latest trend in pants, I am very surprised that she dared, even if with mixed results.
ReplyDeleteThat looks bad. The shoes are ugly as such and are acceptable only with full-length wide-legged formal trousers.
ReplyDeleteI don´t see any need for anyone to ever wear cropped trousers, but if you have to, at least use them to display cool shoes, ideally casual flats, sporty sandals, loaferes or light sneakers.
That whole look wouldn't be bad at all if she put some other shoes on (as you all noticed); this pants are a little bold choice - and why not?
ReplyDeleteMuch better than her usual skinny pants...
DeleteAgree Anja!
DeleteMeh
ReplyDeleteI hate cropped pants. I don't care who wears them, Letizia of Spain, Mary of Denmark, Charlene of Monaco, etc., I don't like them on anyone! Catherine gets an F grade on this outfit.
ReplyDeleteBland, both she and the clothes - no personality.
ReplyDeleteNice to see a female member of the British Royal Family wearing pants and not those horrid skinny jeans Kate/Catherine tends to favour.
ReplyDeleteAs for the outfit, each individual piece is okay but worn together - No! I am not a fan of cropped pants worn formally, great informally with flat shoes. Nice shoes with a retro suit or dress or even the right pants. Great jacket, just not with the other items in her ensemble.
Diese Jacke ist zu eng und die Schuhe sind furchtbar
ReplyDeleteNot a bad look, but both pants and blazer are one size too small. And the shoes don't quite work well with the cropped kick flares. Shape -wise, there is a lot going on around her ankles and feet, and it doesn't look streamlined and smooth. Makes me think of a flamenco dancer
