ReplyDeleteHe's looking mighty fine in a loden jacket Austrian style.
ReplyDeleteNice pictures of a happy family!
ReplyDeleteWhat the heck does he need his cell phone for?
ReplyDeleteMaybe in case of trouble there is a device on it to keep track of him.
DeleteI use my phone to take photos on holiday.
DeleteTo be permanently in touch with the Prime Minister, to be contacted if a risky situation arose, to follow the League football matches minute by minute, to check the latest news, to call family ans friends and so on.

DeleteIsn't that the father of Queen Maxima on the 7th, picture?
ReplyDeleteI love Maxima's fedora!!
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting to see what it takes for a royal family to go on a tour: a bus, many carers, a nanny, the in-laws, guards. I wonder what their accommodations are for all of those people. I see Princess Beatrix is not too proud to use walking sticks - good for her! Quite the expedition. They must be glad the birthday celebrations are over.
ReplyDeletePomme de Terre: Yep, looks like Dad from Argentina.Very frail? - Bad hair day for Maxima, but she can leave her hat on. And the King with a Sazburger Trachtenjanker, well, well... He certainly knows good quality. These jackets are investments for lifetime.
ReplyDeleteThe little one is a friendly kid, she even waves from the car to the cameras:)
Beatrix is a "power walker": two!! sticks for the mountains around Salzburg. Maybe they visited the famous and mysterious Untersberg.
Lovely to see the family getting to spend time with both sides of the family.
