Queen Maxima and King Willem Attend Amstel Concert

On May 5, 2017 King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima attended the Freedom concert on the Amstel river in Amsterdam. In the Netherlands, Liberation Day is celebrated each year on May 5 to mark the end of occupation by Nazi Germany during World War II. Liberation Day traditionally concludes with one of the biggest events of the day, the Amstel Concert. The Queen wore Natan dress

    I love the colour and fabric and she looks radiant - but the shape is just so bulky and doesn't flatter her. She doesn't need to be covered in a tent-like shape. Perhaps if the pants were a skirt.....?
    But I do love that colour!

      I totally agree. Maxima has a gorgeous figure, she looks beautiful in garment that accentuate her curves.

      Very pretty colour, but the volumes of material make this a miss for me.

    I like the colour and the draping of the top part and the detail on it.

    I don't like the trousers - they hang strangely and I suspect would be improved if made from a different, less stiff fabric. I agree with Heather that a skirt would work better - particular made from this material.

    Despite that I think she looks good especially with that Maxima glow.

      Agree with you, with different style lower part this would be hit but not today. Her hair is lovely and pale pinkish color is good to her.

    Very unusual and lovely outfit Maxima! A big hand for our very ill Mayor of Amsterdam, still on duty at night in an open boat. Hope to see you next year again Eberhard van der Laan!

    Máxima looks ridículous in this new eyesore perpetrated by Natan. Both the colour and the shape (or rather the lack of it) are ghastly and unbecoming.

    I like this outfit of the Queen. Something different and it suits her personality. She dresses out of the box. Other Royal ladies will look ridiculous in this outfit.
