Duchess Catherine of Cambridge, Prince William and Prince Harry attended a tea party at the Buckingham Palace on May 13, 2017 London in Britain. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry, hosted the Party at the Palace to honour the children of those who have died serving in the Armed Forces. |
Hats off to Catherine for wearing cream - after five minutes I would have got great big dirty marks on it without knowing how! I quite like the style, it's practical and elegant but I don't love the lace pattern (less noticeable on Catherine than than on the model), the wedges are a practical and comfortable way of wearing heels but I don't like them.
ReplyDeleteAwesome party! Hamdwritten invites w a letter handwritten by Harry. This trio do well w children always.
ReplyDeleteAs to the dress. I was not crazy about it last time in Canada but I like it more today. Appropriate for a garden tea party. There is a fabulous picture of Catherine roaring w laughter and delight!
Happy that these children get to have a happy day at the palace. Losing a parent as a child is such a heartbreak.
The event planner btw is owned by one of Princess Diana's best friends. She is also the planner for Pippa's wedding. Diana continues to there ....as she should 💞
Oops forgot the planner name Camilla Monckton
ReplyDeleteThe Duchess looks lovely and relaxed. I'd "looove" to own this dress... When the "3" are together, they always have fun! That's nice!!
ReplyDeleteYes, you can see that they are close to each other and relaxed. I hope they brought this children little sunshine in their lives. Kate's dress is lovely but I wish she would put on some other shoes, I really dislike wedges in this combination.
ReplyDeleteI like the dress but not especially with the wedges. But they all look great at a special event for children. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteWOW beautiful photos of the three. Today was not a day for fashion, but happiness for heartbroken children who lost a parent. Well done to the three British Royals.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a grand event! Could it be that the wedges are because spike heels would sink into the grass? That would be tricky.
ReplyDeleteYes, that's a possibility - also they still give her height but are more comfortable to wear.
DeleteLovely color but a found this dress boring.
ReplyDeleteI too find this dress boring and think she could have dressed down a tad to fit in with the occasion. Since its not a day for fashion she could have relaxed a little in the clothing area.
ReplyDeletei like this dress; i would have preferred different belt and shoes; i am not a fan of wedges; and these ones particularly...
ReplyDeleteBecause Kate is a warm/soft autumn this cream color looks perfect on her. I do not really like the dress nor the wedges but she looks ok
ReplyDeleteLooks beautiful
